All these online books operate in gray area.  Goodluck collecting half a million if you were to win.

Not true.  It about whether they can get away without paying you or not.  Especially if where you live sportgambling is illegal.

There are a few post on this forum where books Dont pay or look for a way to weasel out.

Beginnerboy a longtime member recently got screwed by online book he been using for years.  He manage to turn a freeroll into thousands of dollars.  Went to cash out and they refuse to pay it!

Take the 14K, you'll hate yourself when you lose the parlay by 1 leg.  It's a lot more money than what you paid for the parlay.  You know what they say...
"Money in hand..."

Simple just hedge this game for the 14K or play under 45.5 for 17K to win 14K. Now you have a middle and shot at the next bigger payout.

The Banker will have a bigger offer next game and you can protect it again.

Ummm he made a $500 wager.  He asking if he should cash out at $14K.  Where on earth would he get the funds to hedge this as you suggested.  How does he even know they will even pay the cashout at this point?

Risking more money to win money someone hasnt paid you yet is a losing proposition!

If someone has 525.00 to play a 9 team parlay, you'd think they had 17K or could find the funds to hedge if the bet was made at a legit sportsbook.

Just saying,,, Heck I would buy the ticket for 14K if it was at a legit sportsbook.

You would think someone who makes a $500 parlay wager would have +10k xtra to wager at least.

But most people doing these parlays are hoping for those big payouts with little money to wager for it.  Its what makes them enticing.

He clearly asking whether or not to hedge RIGHT NOW.  Usually that means this is money he doesnt have or its too enticing to pass up!

You can bet that I'd phone a friend with a big pile of cash if I had that nine team parlay and hit seven. Insurance companies buy policies all the time from people and if the play was at a legit book, he could not lose hedging with that payout. Very simple math and he could cash the 14K by hedging as long as he had access to funding the next round.

Just my .02 and hope he hits no matter.

I ended up cashing out and playing a few grand on the over anyways. The wind is gonna kill the over though. I’ve hit some crazy parlays on this site and never had any issues getting paid. Thanks for the advice everyone. Nice come up before Christmas hope everyone has a great one. Thanks again. 

If the score was 21-14 late in the 2nd Q instead of 3-0, would you have still posted #38?

500 to win 14k is always a nice thing, if it really happened.

I'm a sucker for a feel good holiday season story so I will play along and believe ...congrats either way

It looks like OP made the right call to cash out early.  The over 42.5 didn't cover tonight.  Good job covers forum for giving him solid advice!

Hopefully you listened ti these guys that said cash out. They know how hard it is to bring a big parlay like that home. Almost impossible. It happens but it takes a sht load of luck .

 Free rolls come with stipulations that are clearly written in the rules. If these books didnt pay they wouldnt last. Bet online and bet us will pay you right quick.
