49ers could have ran 4 pass plays and instead spike twice and run twice
 
 
that just being bullheaded that wasn't the time to "establish the run"  lol

His play calling and strategy most of the game was brutal and amusing at the same time. Thankfully, they got that one kick return TD and F.Gore's performance to not make it look like me was completely incompetent.
 
Singleberry is still wearing his '85 Bears under-roos or something.

unexperienced QB, young team, new coach(es), having that unexpected opportunity...
 
took them by surprise... atleast they're on the right track...
 
I just don't like Singletary coming over to scold his players after every play, that's what practice is for...
 
sure when the time is neccessary.. but the Vernon Davis penalty before half, that wasn't the time for it... it's sort-of disrespecting your team & players, going over to make his point heard in the middle of the game, after a great play, with time on the clock to still maange your team.. you go up to one of a handful of tightends in the league that can physically make the play & scold him... it's not the place or time
 
even if he didn't scold him, telling him to "use his head" or "be smart" or w/e he said... it's still not the time, don't go embarrassing your players on the field.
 
it was understandable the first week what he did to Vernon Davis, he needed to put his foot down, but now after your foot is down, you don't kick dirt..
 
just my out-look, coming from a "49ers organization fan"
 
but I do like the guy, hopefully he settles in to be a good coach, still needs to learn the basics of being a coach... clock management, play calling in specific situations (ex: :04 in the game & running with Robinson.. won't cut it..)

WHY DIDn'T THEY SPIKE it with 30 seconds on the clock...would have been 2nd & GOAL with alot more time to RUN the ball twice if they wanted plus a pass for 4th down (if needed)

I re-watched this on TiVo in HORROR.  They gained a 1st & goal at the 2yd line with 47 secs left.  It took Hill 27 secs to spike the fucking ball.  Why didnt he just run a fucking play?
 
If you spike it right away, they could have RUN 3 times if he wanted to "establish" the run.  I agree with the post that says this FUCKING DUMBASS should be FIRED immediately. 
 
And, while he is being FIRED, I think he should write me a check for the 2H wager that he just snglehandedly cost me.  In 47 secs, they get to run 2 off-tackle plays, and 2 spikes.  And, one of the off-tackle runs was given to a RB who has, coming into this game, 4 carries for 14yds on the year. 
 
I am in a state of shock - this is absolutely one of the most difficult 47 sec periods of time in my life!!  I was sure that SF was going to get in easy.  I was worried that they were going to leave too much time for ARZ (LOL).  As the 25 secs were running off the clock waiting for the spike, I thought that maybe Hill was having some sort of medical condition.

Terrible all around but I had AZ -1.5 in live betting so no complaints.  Why even spike it on 1st down? They stood there and wasted time for like 20 seconds. Why not just run 4 pass plays or at least 3 pass plays and then you could consider some type of bootleg to give the QB a pass or run option to end it but just running right up the middle to get 3 yards is stupid.

Fuck that old muthafucka mike singletary.  He's stupid and a fuckup, I hope he gets fired, do not let this guy coach the 49'ers.  This guy is horrible, you got the game dude, your at the 2 yard line.  You got it, all you gotta do is do a play action pass then either do a bootleg right or left or find a receiver or your tight end.

I think the players should all drop their pants & line up the coaches so that the coaches can each start BLOWING them.  That coaching staff should step up & say "WE FUCKED UP BOYS"  SF played their ASS off in the last 5 minutes, and their coaching staff FUCKED it up for them!!!!!!!!!!!!

WRONG.

The second spike didnt count, the last play was 3rd down because of the review.  Thats why the clock started at the beginning of the play.
