If you’ve watched Fournette play in his LSU days, you know he can break big games wide open. Brady doesn’t want a shootout vs the Chiefs. Look for the Bucs to use Fournette to slow the game down. He’s a threat in the passing and running game.
All it takes is Fournette to score 2 TDs and a Bucs win and you will see him win MVP.
Even Vegas has him next in line behind Brady for the Bucs MVP odds. I love this play.

Great play. Interesting... Fournette is one of the top options listed by Vegas for 2+ TDs. If this happens and Bucs win, +2500 odds sound much better than a 2 TD +700 odds play. Liking this more and more as I study this game.

I agree with your thought process. However, Bruce Arians will not allow this to happen. He NEEDS to throw the football. The Bucs allowed Rodgers back in the game with the 3 second half picks. Should have been a comfortable win. All he had to do was run the ball. Run the clock. Short passes. Its not in his DNA. If the Bucs win it will IN SPITE OF BRUCE ARIANS.........not BECAUSE OF BRUCE ARIANS. We all know the way to beat Mahomes is to leave him on the sideline. I suspect ARIANS knows it to. He just doesnt care!

Good point. My only thought to argue is Fournette is deadly after a catch. So even if passing, he’s right in the thick of the offense. So even if Brady dominates through the air, the TDs could still go Fournette’s way and especially if they run inside the 10.

there is a reason the last time a RB won SB MVP was 1997..... Fournettte is listed at 41x on willhill, worth a small bet i guess... but don't count on it.
