I believe the Packers are the fourth team to do it... The last 2 Giants, and the Steelers both won.. The first team to do it was New England and they got killed by the Bears... So the answer is 2-1 is the record and the last 2 teams have won.

Incorrect.  The first team to do it was not New England.  The Oakland Raiders were a wild card team in 1980, and won the Super Bowl that year, over the Eagles.  They were the first wild card team to win the Super Bowl.A few years earlier the Cowboys lost to the Steelers in Super Bowl X.  I remember the Cowboys were a wild card team that year.
