I didn't post much at all in 2014 on here, and I don't think at all since October. I'm going to look at staying active in 2015 and will keep track of my record for the calendar year. For those who haven't seen me around before, I typically play NBA, NHL, NFL, and a bit on the England Premier League.
Atlanta Hawks (Friday)/Panthers ML Parlay 200 to win 204
Ravens +3.5 256.08 to win 200
I'm not comfortable laying a TD with the Panthers, regardless of how well they have played of late, and with Lindley playing. Yes, the Panthers smoked the Saints and Falcons, but they also barely scrapped by the Bucs and Browns in between those games. Carolina has a huge advantage on the ground and an advantage at QB so I don't see them losing at home. I just think the game may be closer than some believe so prefer to parlay it with the Hawks, who should win, for plus money.
I'll admit the Ravens are my team, and I was going to find a way to be on them one way or another, but I do feel fairly comfortable with this pick. With Bell officially ruled out, the Steelers are leaning on Harris who has barely touched the ball all season. Huge advantage to the Ravens and Forsett.
The concern in this one is the downfield threats Pitts has with Brown, Bryant and Wheaton vs a poor Ravens secondary. I'm not saying the Steelers won't score. They will, and they will have some big plays. But Flacco loves the deep ball as much as any other QB in the league and can match Big Ben with the HR play to Torrey Smith.
The Ravens are good against the run and with Ngata back and Bell out, I think it will make Pitt a one dimensional team. Ravens also only allow a 6th best 18.9 points per game, and have a better O line...giving up only 19 sacks all season.
Lastly, the Steelers actually allow more yards against the pass per game than the Ravens. In this game the Steelers have 2 things going for them...more passing threats, and home field. I see a number of things in favour of the Ravens - homer play or not.
BOL to all in 2015 and in the NFL playoffs.
I'll post any additional plays, including those for Sunday later tonight/tomorrow.

I'm with you on Baltimore but I think arizona will surprise people. They were 9-1 regular season for a reason....played in a much more physical conference and are playing pissed since they lost the bye late this season. Also I can't trust "scam" Newton.
Is Andre Ellington out the rest of the year? I know he's been out the past couple weeks with a hernia injury but is he back for this game tomorrow?

Arizona was 4-4 on the road this year with wins against NYG, Oakland, Dallas and St. Louis. Only quality win there is Dallas, but if you look closer into that game Carson Palmer was still at QB for Arizona and that's the game Tony Romo missed so Brandon Weeden was at QB for Dallas. If Romo was healthy for that game Dallas probably wins and Arizona has a 3-5 road record.

read my thread of the 100% trend vs all teams in NFL you'll really love your ravens play now.BY the way looks at div games Ravens got murderd twice by Cincy at home and away I took ravens second game (insert face palm icon)SO steelers who waxed Bengals 2 x in 4 weeks 42-21 @ cincy then a struugel at home early but won by 10 27-17 are now this teeny weeny favorite of 3 1/2 when game vs cincy was a 4.5 favorite ??? SEE what i'm getting at here? why the lower spread over a rival who got hammered by Cincy twice??? and finshed up season 2-1 and 0-3 ats won vs Jags but - 14 points LOST at Texans s/u as chalk no cover -14 vs Browns 20-10 win and it didnt get out away till the 4th quater that game any way i'm buyig Ravens + 3 1/2 vegas rarely moves off the 3 they rather hold it and juice the money like this Steelrs - 3 +105 Ravens +3 -115
I got raped fading the Steeters twice on prime time. Once with Ravens and a sickning loss by Bengals.. I hope this is the game that reverses everything.. I don't like the fact that Steelers are 3-0 vs Ravens at home in playoffs. But (-) Bell is huge... can't believe this line didn't move..
I can get +3.5 +4 RRavens with decent juice right now

As a Steeler fan I hear you on the line not moving despite Bell being out. Thing is, the Ravens are awful against the pass and very good against the run. If they can get decent pass protection from the fill in RB's, Ben should still pick them apart. It's a tough call, but I see the Steelers winning a close one. That said, I'd take 3.5 with the Ravens.

spider monkey. good to see you posting again. You definitely make me hesitant on taking the steelers. It's almost as if I can't think of one good reason to only get +3 with ravens here other than bell out and recent history but that's how the NFL works. Spread is begging for steelers money. definitely gotta think about this one. BOL

Hey Vegas...glad to see you still here too. I hear ya on the Steelers. All week I was convinced Steelers -3 was the play, but hated having to bet against my Ravens. Then once Bell was ruled out I started looking closer into the game. There's no way the Steelers are gonna run like crazy with Josh Harris vs a run defense that only gives up 88 yards a game.
The Steelers need to go to the air all day. This is gonna be a war, and I'm taking the points with the better defensive team that still has it's star running back.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

Ravens have no DB's and look at all the crappy teams they played to accumulate these stats you are mentioning. The steelers just beat 3 playoff teams in a row. Bell is a loss but I believe the O-line will get the back ups some yards and protect Ben. Pittsburgh 27-17

Pittsburgh plays in the same division.

find a reason to convince yourself the steelers win that game buddy....
I've said the Steelers can easily blow this game open in the air. But I look at the fact their secondary gives up more yards in the air than even the Ravens, Bell being out, the Ravens giving up 18.9 ppg, have allowed close to 30 fewer sacks, and the fact these teams often play close games, and I'm taking the points.
Of course counter points could be made for some of those stats to support the Steelers. I wouldn't be surprised if they win, but I like my chances with a field goal spread in my favor.

The Panthers is 4-4 @home as well. Detroit, Chicago, TB, Cleveland

Atlanta Hawks (Friday)/Panthers ML Parlay 200 to win 204
Ravens +3.5 256.08 to win 200
Adding:
Cardinals +6 230.15 to win 200
I'm adding this bet for two reasons. After going 5-0 yesterday and profiting almost 1500, I'd like to sit back and enjoy this game while adding to my bankroll regardless of the outcome. I think there is a great opportunity for a middle here, but either way I'm putting in at least $200 to my roll from what I woke up with this morning. Also, the Panthers as part of the parlay makes this possible because I now have their ML at + money. It wouldn't make sense to go for a middle otherwise.

Guess I shoulda let the original parlay just ride, but having it at plus money, I'm still happy with my decision to go for the middle. Also loving that I have the Colts at +3.5 now on the 2nd half of the teaser. Debating if I'm going to do anything extra with them tomorrow.

Got the line last night before it dropped this morning. Still debating whether I'm gonna leave the teaser with the Colts on such a favourable line or do something more with them.
