I've been working on a number of formulas based on various game statistics that I've collected over the past five years and after removing TNF, SNF and MNF, I've found some interesting/profitable patterns. I've been reading some other posts here and this seems like as good as place as any to share the results of my weekly findings. Here's my picks for this week and results from weeks 7 and 6. Weeks 1 thru 5 were used as a base line for this years' teams for comparison to past teams.
For week 8 ATS and O/U:
- ATL +3
- NYG -1
- SEA +1 and U 43
- IND +3.5 and O 47
- WAS +4.5 and O 46.5
- OAK +1.5 and O 41.5
- CHI -9 and U 43
Note: GB was a play @ -13.5 but outside the range @ -14.5
Week 7: 8-2-1
- ARI +7 (P) and U 38.5 (W)
- HOU -6.5 (W)
- JAX +6 (W)
- NYJ +11 (W) and O 47.5 (W)
- TB +1 (L) and 49.5 (W)
- BUF O 46.5 (W)
- DAL U 45 (W)
- NYG O 51.5 (L)
Week 6: 8-5
- ARI -5 (L)
- ATL -7 (L)
- DET +3.5 (W)
- NYG +7 (W)
- NYJ O 43.5 (W)
- TB -5 (W) and O 39.5 (W)
- CLE O 42 (W)
- HOU O 46.5 (W)
- MIA U 38 (L)
- PHI U 47.5 (L)
- SF U 47 (W)
- WAS O 44 (L)
Plays depend on expected results vs. actual lines so the number of games will vary from week to week. I suspect that between 9 and 13 plays will be the norm. Good luck to all!!!
