 agreed, it's an ugly result but the defender can't expect the receiver's head to be in that position so low to the ground. 

 

It's football, violent collision are going to happen 

 

save the ejections for players intentionally trying to injure or aiming for players heads.  Kazee got ejected for unfortunate timing
