I have the fish in this one. The Dolphins ALWAYS play the Pats tight, no matter what their record is. They seem to be re-energized after they fired their head coach. I'm sure they will try to run the ball a lot and keep Brady and crew off the field. They have a talented front four on D. led by Suh. They will give Brady some troubles and may force some bad passes and possible turnovers. I believe the Pats are the best team in football. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they shock everyone and win this game. That's a tall task on a National stage on the road though. Lets make this 3 straight Thursday Night Parlays.......Patriots 27 and Miami 23
Best of Luck!!! I hope I am able to help some of you gamblers!!

Jets have the best defense and maybe best cbs combination in the nfl....pats still put up 30...with plenty dropped passes from ne recievers....miami team is trash beating hoiston and rookie qb tenn...... Dont believe this hype ...If houston can put up 24 .....even garbage time..... I think pats will get it done in fox....... Pats -10...GL

Only thing making me habe doubts pats -8 is that everybody and thier grandma might be on pats on a single tnf.......and vegas might have somethibg to do with the outcome......firing the coach might of help miami to scrubby teams but does not mean much going against belichek and brady in fox..... Belichek will be bellichk and brady will still be brady ....new maimi coach or not

Publics loving miamis back to back blowouts against teams who have tossed in the towel. This is the greatest QB/coach tandem in the league vs a TE coach preparing for a team that's 19-1 in their last 20 games Brady's played in. Patriots are lights out at home. Common sense goes a long way with this game. What's that all this "well they played them tough at home in the past" Garbage. Pats by double digits t. Good value on alternate line (-16.5).

Its not the Dolphins fault they got two bad teams. They did what they should do to those type of teams and throttled them. History does matter, Just like Seattle last week, owning Kapernick. For whatever reason, some teams have other teams number. I still like the fins. BOL!!

Before the season started I had the Dolphins winning the AFC East and they are finally starting to play up to their potential. They beat a Titans team handily by 28 points on the road - the Titans' 2nd biggest loss since the start of 2014. They not only blew the bad Texans away in just one half - they did it with ease.
The Patriots played a cupcake schedule and had their first serious opponent last week and they were just losing 16-20 at the beginning of the fourth quarter AT HOME. While LaFell dropped a few, the Patriots highly benefited from two TD drops by Cumberland & Marshall plus the injuries of Ivory, Skrine, Pryor and Richardson.
The Jets could have been up 24-16 or even 28-16 AT Foxborough despite losing the turnover battle. The Dolphins are even more explosive on offense.

I would have to agree with summa here. I am getting the impression lots of people only saw the box scores from the fins last two games and did not actually watch. The scone half against the texans was played by miamis second string. They handily dominated the texans in the first half, same with the titans. I believe Brady still pulls this win out SU put won't be able to do enough to cover the spread. Let us also keep in mind that new england o line facing sun and wake who are finally playing football.

Despite the Pats doing what they did in the past two seasons. The Dolphins are 2-2 against them. That's amazing to me. No other team can claim that. I'm not gonna bet the house on this one. Also, the Texans game.. Their Offense has been much better with Hoyer at the helm. They got smashed in the first half, and scored most of those 26 against second string players. BOL!!!

The casual NFL fan looks at the scores the last two weeks and then they get their jump to conclusion mat out to make predictions without even knowing who is on the bench and who is playing. public perception, public perception.....

FACT OF THE MATTER IS THE JETS PLAYS TOUGH AT NEW ENGLAND AS THEIR 5-1 ATS RECORD AT FOXBOROUGH SHOWS ...
I DONT THINK THAT IS TRUE FOR THE DOLPHINS ...
THE DOLPHINS SEEM TO PLAY TOUGH VERSUS THE PATS IN MIAMI AS THEY ARE 2-3 SU AND 3-2 ATS LAST 5 GAMES... AS VISITORS THEY ARE 0-5 SU AND 1-4 ATS ..
GIVE ME NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS -7 IN A PRIMETIME GAME ..

Once again Summa, I believe you're selling NE short. The Marshall drop was blatant OPI that wasn't called once again, ever notice how Edelman and co. get called for the weakest pushoffs yet when their opponents do it to them no one ever brings it up?
For all the injuries to Ivory and Richardson (who still played I might add), have you taken into account Lewis (who is the perfect shift pass catching RB to negate an elite defense like NYJ), the OL injuries to Solder, Stork, Mason?
Lafell dropped not 1, not 2...but 6 passes! NE as a team dropped 11 or 12 passes total and STILL dropped 30 points on what imo is one of the 3 best defenses in the league (along with DEN and STL).
Just my take, I respect your picks as a whole you're a great capper. I agree that CIN is the other team in the AFC to watch with PIT/DEN being underdogs because of their shortcomings on defense and offense respectively.

Yes it is documented. on ESPN's pigskin pick'em ATS. Look at gqdavek1 (same name here) and you can see I have never had a losing week. I am now in the top 97.3% picking ATS.

It won't be cold in foxboro, if it was it would be a disadvantage for miami.
This TE coach must be a dummy, cause you know in order to get to the esteemed possition of TE's coach on the NFL level must be super easy. Dan Cambel must of been the water boy before he got promoted.
When the GM fired Philbin he thought to himself, "ah f*ck it let's make the useless TE coach the interim coach, because I don't care about my organization"
*that's sarcasm for you serious types

Pats played a full game last week.
The phins played only 1 half
Short rest for both teams.
