Tough line. It felt like the same way I looked at the superbowl....and in that one I ended up just taking the Rams ML, and I wish i wouldve done the same last night with the Chiefs. Instead I bought it down to 3 for -145 and pushed.
-2.5 and you are paying like -175/-190.......and the ML was like -200/-220.......probably just should've taken the ML, but I will take the push.
I hate the 4 point spreads.....toughest ones to work with.....I can do a 10 point 3 team teaser with my locals, so if it goes to 3.5 you can flip it to +6.5.....which makes sense in certain games.......6 doesn't feel as good. I really like flipping the slight home faves -2.5 to the +7.5 on those teases.
Hey.....ya had it for awhile lol.....honestly if Herbert and/or Staley would've acknowledged that Gerald Everett was basically walking around during the end of that long drive because he was so winded......then maybe that pick-6 wouldn't have happened. He was clearly supposed to cut that route off and dig-in base on the DB taking an outside position......instead he got to the option part of his route and basically gave up and drifted to the right......letting the DB jump the route. Very frustrating for Charger backers I imagine. I understand why they were going up-tempo.....having the Chiefs D on the ropes like that......but you gotta finish that drive and know what's going on with your personnel.
After that pick.....Everett couldn't even run after the DB......and he basically stood around the goal line hunched over and his mouthpiece fell out of his mouth onto the field as the kid ran it all the way back. Poor read by Herbert, and poor attention to detail by Staley, as well as Lombardi (the OC) up in the box watching everything play out.......someone should've said something to Herbert in the headset.

Staley isnt a good offensive coach. If Shanahan had those weapons that team would be scary
