Step 1: determine the original full game line (say Rams +3, o/u 39)
Step 2: determine a theoretical second half line based on first half actual score and the remaining points needed in the 2nd half to equal the original game line (so if the Rams are winning 20-3, then this theoretical line would be Rams -20, o/u 16)
Step 3: compare the actual 2nd half line against the theoretical line calculated in step 2 (so in this example let's say the actual line is Rams +3, o/u 20)
Step 4: if the difference between the actual line and the theoretical line varies by more than 10 points, bet AGAINST the middle. (in the example the variance on the Rams line would be 23 points, so bet the rams, the o/u variance is only 4, so pass on that)
The system assumes that either a) the market is biased overvaluing the middles and/or b) the market undervalues first half performance as a good indicator of 2nd half results.

My understanding of the system is this:
Step 1: determine the original full game line (say Rams +3, o/u 39)
Step 2: determine a theoretical second half line based on first half actual score and the remaining points needed in the 2nd half to equal the original game line (so if the Rams are winning 20-3, then this theoretical line would be Rams -20, o/u 16)
