I just don’t really care about the Steelers injuries because all it takes is for the Steelers to score 10 points and the game is over.

Dick LeBeau is a defensive guru who has elite NFL talent to carry out his game monster plan.

John Fox is way too stupid to out coach Dick LeBeau.

Tebow is going up against for the first time in his career, Troy Polamalu and James Harrison.

Troy Polamalu is going to play right on the line of scrimmage on every play and if James Harrison gets his hands on tebow, he is going to crush him. I expect a ton of sacks, fumble sacks and maybe a ton of turnovers.

Denver is scoring an average of 19.3 points per game this season; the Broncos have scored 17 points since playing the Patriots.

Now all of a sudden against the second best defense in the league, John Fox is going to design a real game plan to take advantage of tebow skill set.

The Broncos will have two rookies in the backfield and no Brian Dawkins.
 
Tebow’s numbers in the fourth quarter are 984 Pass yards, six touchdowns, four interceptions, and three rushing touchdowns. If Fox, could only see why his numbers are much better in the fourth.

Maybe it has to do with a no huddle hurry up spread offense? Hummm…

If the Chiefs were able to shut down the Broncos to only three points in a must win playoff atmosphere, just imagine what the Steelers will be able to do.

Anyone who can win with Tebow is a good coach. You talk about the speed he had at Fla. they would outrun any deep ball he could throw now. You said you watched every game right? So then you saw that he under throws almost every deep ball. And that is with, as you stated a slow bunch of #2 and #3 receivers.

Tebow was a great college player but that doesn't always translate to pro.

Tebow is the Tyler Hansborough of football!

Good coaches, learn, adapt, and put their players in a position to succeed. If he is such a good coach? Why does he continue every week to run an offense that Tebow has never ran his entire career? Fox keeps trying to force Tebow to be something he is not.

When I was watching the Broncos play the Bills and the Chiefs, I was screaming at the top of my lungs for Fox to run the spread no huddle, up-tempo, spread offense that Tebow has been trained to run. Let him do what he does in the fourth quarter, when they are always losing, from the very start and never stop.

The defense would be exhausted and on their toes. Tebow is not a read and react type of quarterback. He is a react then read type of quarterback. Tebow likes to play schoolyard ball on the fly. When he sits back in the pocket and is forced to read the coverage, he gets happy feet.

That is why many those balls are under thrown. He throws off his back foot because he is uncomfortable and does not trust his protection or receivers to run fast enough to catch it.

That is why Urban Meyer installed a fast-paced offense, generally using smaller, quicker players. They ran a spread no huddle, up-tempo, spread offense, using speed to spread the field, which resulted in quick, drives and higher scoring games.

He created that offense to take advantage of Tebow’s skill set. Urban Meyer looked at Tebow’s strengths and weaknesses and made coaching adjustments to put Tebow in a position to succeed. As I clearly pointed out in my first three posts of this thread.

Tebow does not have the talent he needs to run Meyer’s offense but Fox has to recognize that he has to do everything he can to put the players Tebow needs around him. So he can run the offense he knows how to succeed in but Fox is too stupid to realize that.

Sunday will be more of the same slow and under center predictable offense, that Tebow will always fail using.

Speaking of coaches, Steelers RB coach Kirby Wilson was badly burned in his home when it caught on fire Thursday night. 
He is in UPMC Hospital listed in critical condition.
This will effect the Steelers running game.
The Steelers have a lot of problems right now.
Most banged up team heading into playoffs.
Mendenhall is out, Pouncy is out, Legursky is filling in for Pouncy and has a bad shoulder. Big Ben is nursing a bad foot/ankle,
Ryan Grant is out, Polamalu is nursing a calf injury.
I think Steelers will win, but it will be close. IMO

I am not mad, nor am I insulted.  I just think you are wrong.  I am not a Denver or John Fox fan either.  I will give you the Callahan point though.  The difference is that John Fox has maintained a winning record over 8 years in the NFL as a head coach, so while a blind squirrel does find a nut once in awhile, he does not find nuts consistently for an 8 year period.  Again, bol luck man.  Just wondering, how many coaching wins do you got under your belt?

Urban Meyer game plan was run a fast pace offense, keep the defenses on their toes, score early, throw early, get a lead and control the time of possession.

John Fox’s game plan is slow the game down, run early, throw late, keep the game close, control the time of possession, and score late.

In the last two weeks, you know how many short-passes to the running backs and quick timing routes have been called. Zero.

In college, tebow was in the shotgun formation over 3,000 times.

Tebow spent the entirety of his college career at Florida taking snaps from the shotgun, never from under center, even in short-yardage situations.

In the wins, tebow was in the shotgun formation over 80 percent of the time. In losses, tebow has been under center 50 percent of the time.

Even a tebow skeptic, Merrill hodge has said “this is the most vanilla offense in the NFL and it’s as vanilla as it can get.”

John Fox is telegraphing every play on offense to the defense.  

My father was a football coach. I played football and my father taught me every thing there is to know about football and he wanted me to be a football coach but I chose law enforcement instead and sports gambling.

 John Fox is Bill Callahan with more playoff blowouts under his belt.

Whether you think John Fox is a good coach and you would want him coaching your team? Well that is your opinion.

I take it back John Fox is not a High school coach. He is not even a towel boy. I would not want John Fox to coach my son’s peewee league football team.

There will be a top 50 worst coaches in NFL history show one day on the NFL network and you will be one of those people who says John Fox doesn’t belong on that list and that is your opinion.

There are probably hundreds of people, who believe that Ryan Leaf is a good quarterback. No matter the evidence to prove other wise, they will always disagree.

The point of the thread was to prove Tebow has no offensive help and is running the wrong offense and that John Fox is to blame.

If you can prove to me that John Fox is putting Tebow in a position to succeed and is running the right offense and has surrounded him with talent to get the job done. I will be more than happy to say I am wrong.

Go re-read posts 1,2 and 3 and I want you to dissect everything I pointed out and tell me where I am wrong, other than you disagreeing that John Fox is a horrible coach.

When I first saw your post, I though this was going to be a typical bash Tebow thread...I was wrong. You are spot on with your assessment of the coaching. Fox is horrible and has done everyting in his power to limit and hinder Tebow's play making abilities.If by some chance Fox pulls his head out and runs the spread today I give the Broncos about a 50/50 chance...if they go conservative, and they probably will...25/75...Hope the kid pulls a win out, and shuts everyone up.

Fantastic writeups and explanations, especially on Johm Fox's ineptitude. If he would no huddle and speed up TT, they would have a much better chance THAN None at all

Like you pointed out, Harrison and Polamolu are just licking their chops to DEVOUR this UNFORTUNATE deer in the headlights known as TT.  I definitely see a myriad of turnovers and MISTAKES as TT melts down in front of the NATION tis afternoon

Bu the end of the day, EVERYBODY will REALLY see how much Tim Tebow SUCKS

Can't dispute that Tebow will struggle against the Pitt defense but Pitt is the most heavily wagered on team and Vegas knows that. Wouldn't be surprised to see some funny business late in this game. Let me say this, all 4 favorites will NOT cover this weekend. 2 did yesterday and if the NYG do early, it would be wise to take Denver. Pitt wins this game but it will be ugly, I see a 13-6 type game. BOL

Someone should inform Mike Tomlin and the Steelers about John Fox's stupidity.  That moron Fox has the Broncos on top of the mighty Steelers.  Of course, I am positive that it was lucky, like his Super Bowl run, but his high school offensive system just marched right down the field on the best D in the league.  Your father should give Tomlin a call at halftime and help him out with a few tricks to stop this towelboy and his offense full of recycled running backs and slow wide receivers.

They know you’re going to pass now, save us, with a minute left in the game and drive us 80 yards down the field with the most pathetic receiving core and your confidence shot.

Tebow has…

Eric Decker is a slow number three but is playing the number one position.

Demaryius Thomas is a slow, number two, wide receiver.

Dante Rosario is a slow TE playing fullback.

Chris Clark is a slow tackle playing tight end.

Recycled injury prone Willis McGahee

Lance Ball who has been cut four times.

Jeremiah Johnson who has been cut three times and is only on the roster because Moreno got hurt.

Eddie royal who is always injured and has been a no show this season.

Tebow also has four other slow practice squad players to work with that are not worth mentioning.

Does that sound like the fast-paced offense, generally using smaller, quicker players that he had in Florida?
