Get a clue. You obviously haven't been watching this season unfold. Even if Belichek is able to take away Cruz, which I don't think will be easy, Nicks and Manningham will burn them. What's he going to do? Put Julian Edelman on him? Give me a break.

Prime Time..Prime Time!..Prime Time!!!
Well everyone is arguing about how the Patriots will cover the Giants receivers. McCourty basically HAS to be on Nicks becasue of the size advantage Nicks would have over everyone else. Yes, Edelman has to cover Cruz but should get help over the top and expect the front 7 to help on crossing routs against him. Manningham is the x-factor and Arrington should be on him all game..maybe gettin beat by him all game.
The Giants offensive line though is going to have to give him time for these routes to develop. If the Giants can execute the deep ball it's probably game-set-match. Should be classic Giant football now that they have Bradshaw in this one where they only had Jacobs in the first one; try to run the ball first in single back formations.
As for the Patriots offensively the Giants need to be concerned about Brady's ability to audible into run situations like they did against the Ravens. Welker has caught for over 100 in both games the've played over the past 4 years and it's due to the 'get the ball out of your hands and avoid that sick pass rush mentality'. Gronkowski's high ankle sprain may cost the Pats this game as he too went over 100 in the game this year and broke the record for td's by a tight end with 18...his presense alone should concern the Giants but if he is'nt himself he only needs single coverage.
These teams get turnovers and both coaches have a keene instinct on preparation and adjusments. Manning is all set so long as he get's protection and does'nt just throw it up for anyone to catch. He has a history of doing that and Belichick is surely driving home the point of taking advantage of interception opportunity's.
Personally, I wanna see the points and am betting the UNDER 55. Both teams have improving red-zone defense and are giving up very little big plays. The Giant offensive line is over-rated and Eli has basically brought this team to where it is, he probably is gonna hafta win this game too. The Patriot offense needs the quick-hitters against that pass rush and I think the game plays slow.......Go Pats...respect Brady's dome record...but, UNDER is the play

Exactly, both losing teams out-played their opponents in the key effiency sand skill stats that have a high correlation to winning games, probally the first time in history that's happened in the championship games.
Both losing QB's had a higher quarterback passer rating which has a very high correlation to victory and Flacco crushed Brady, few teams in history have lost with such a big difference in QBPR in any game be it playoffs or regular season unless their opponent could do other things in the game well which the Pats did not.
How the Ravens could have lost that game goes beyond me, and as already mentioned by another poster teams out-played as badly as the Pats were are 1-110 in history.
THE PATS ARE THE LARGEST MIRAGE IN SUPER BOWL HISTORY AND WILL BE TAKEN TO TASK BY THE GIANTS............................................................................

What you might want to check is if a team wins by 7 pts or less in the regular season will the other team win in the playoffs or SB ?
Actually this works pretty well in both playoffs and SB.
Already worked with Giants beating 9ers.
If team wins by 10 pts or more , 14 pts ?
You'll find in closer games the other team wins a rematch, in blowout games the same team wins a rematch.

you have to be lucky to make it to the Superbowl. Balls need to bounce your way, calls need to go your way once in a while, shit needs to happen.
I disagree with this statment for the simply reason when you break down the overwelming number of games the teams which win the effiency and skill stats win the game and that's not luck it's skill, the team which plays the best ussually wins, not always but a very high percentage of times they do, in this case both losing teams out-played the winning teams and should of won.

I will commit to New England and the OVER unless the lines move with some steam but a gradual movement will not scare me off....
Also, I will hedge my bet with a teaser including NYG and the OVER to offset my parlay on New England and the OVER.
I do NOT feel that Vegas has made a mistake by opening up with NYG +4 and much of the public taking the bait with that crucial extra point above the field goal.
I have read and understand that the statistics and trends are mostly in favor of NYG so ask all of you why are they not favored then?
I will unload all 4 plays at 5 units ea.

the name Brady makes N.E. a favorite. If they
made Giants a favorite, it would be all N.E. bets. for the guy who likes N.E. by 14+, then you got the love the over more because the Giants will put some big points on the board

.Vegas187 ---if i can save you from yourself and save u some money i feel like that's what this site is all about. My one bit of advice is don't see the result of SF / NYG game in a vacuum like so many others are. Yes they created 2 huge turnovers on special teams one of which was a legit strip of the ball.....regardless the Giants defense held SF to ZERO 3rd down attempts and made enough plays offensively in the clutch to win against a superior defense on the road. Do you really think Pats D will do anything to limit Eli Manning? 2nd question is do you think Brady will just have his way w/ Giants D especially front 4 which is a dominant force rotating 6 all pros? Not happening anytime soon. If you just looked at the simple facts that this Giants team is better than they were in 07' in just about every aspect and the Pats are not the same team they were especially defensively...
