With all due respect, most of you have no clue about sports. PERIOD. Much less about betting and how the whole establishment works. I do not care about your stats, such as:
Seattle is 310-5 ATS when the wind hill factor is minus 2-----or any of that other crap.
DENVER WINS THE SUPER BOWL STRAIGHT UP. MONEY LINE.
Stop reaching over your shoulder to scratch your behind. Want to know why Denver wins?
Because the NFL needs them to win. Jonathan Martin, Lawsuits by ex-NFL players, controversial rule changes that have soured on most fans, etc. Very bad PR year for the league. They need a feel-good story to win some fans back.
Super Bowl is being played ni the very stadium where Peyton's brother plies his trade. What could be more fitting? I can almost read the headline in the Daily News, the next day:
"The House that Manning's Built."
So please stop your jibberish about Seatle and its vaunted defense. They will not win with Wilson under center. Of course, Baltimore won 2 with Flacco, so anything is possible. However, this is Peyton's year. Mark it down, place your bets on the ML, and a simple thank you will suffice.
Good day to you all.
Interesting write-up.
Everyone of these conspiracy theories I've seen written BEFORE the game have lost.

All bickering aside, trust me, Denver wins. Seattle looks good, but Wilson is not that "get you over the hump QB". He's not facing Eli, or Flacco. He's facing perhaps the greatest QB of all time, when it comes to rattling opposing defenses. Wilson will have a good game, I think, simply because Denver's D is not the best. However, they have been playing steadily better to close the season, and are peaking at the right time. In contrast, Seattle's offense is clearly deficient. They have trouble moving the ball. PERIOD. Their biggest play is "handoff to Lynch". I know Seattle has a great D, as everyone knows. However, Denver does not commit to one receiver. Sherman is not Plastic Man. Peyton will demolish their secondary. BANK ON IT.
Seattle averaged 23 pts in the playoffs.
Denver ave 25 pts.
Seattle needed 88.9 yards to score a TD.
Denver needed 121.8 yards to score a TD.
And you think Seattle's offense is deficient ?

And you don't think MANNING realizes this? I AM SURE PEYTON IS LICKING HIS CHOPS THAT THIS IS TRUE How can you and all the SEATTLE backers here on COVERS go against one of the VERY VERY BEST QB's in our lifetime whose expertise is exploiting this exact scenario
I just don't understand all the UNDERDOG Hawk LOVE when EXPERIENCE should rule the day, especially in a contest that means soooo much more to PEYTON
Russell will get his, just not yet. Hawks might COVER but DENVER, should, undoubtedly, WIN...Good luck with all your SB wagers..some GREAT prop opportunities
Experience rules the day ?
When a previous SB winning QB plays a QB in the SB for the first time, the SB winning QB is 0-6 ATS since 2000.

There isnt a thing that Manning doesnt understand. And, if one person can singlehandedly win a game, its Manning. I just think Seattle is a more complete team. Seattles offense just doesnt get any respect even though they averaged 26 points per game this season which is pretty good considering they are primarily a rushing team and they didnt turn the ball over. But, back to Manning. Yes, he won a SB but why gas he struggled so much in the postseason over his entire career?
Seattle +3 (-115) is a very strong pick. I'm not knocking your pick in anyway and I'd be very pleased with that number if I had it. Just wanted to point out that Seattle's offense did not average 26 points a game this year. Seattle as a team averaged 26 points a game. Their defense was very opportunistic and scored a lot of points this year. Yes, the casual bettor can say, "at the end of the game 26 points is 26 points anyway you can get them ." But as you correctly pointed out earlier, the seasoned bettor understands these games are about matchups. Will Seattle's defense be able to force Denver's offense into the mistakes that lead to defensive scores? If they are to get to 26 points it's likely they'll need to. Should be a great matchup and a great Superbowl.
Good luck, AMD

Thanks for posting, Freddy. I like the under 47. I believe Seattle slows Denver down by playing between the 20's. I havent checked the prop for total fg's/gm but thats a prop Id be interested in knowing. I think with the combination of both teams running the ball and both Qbs passing efficiency, this game has the potential to be played quickly. Good luck

In the last four games (which includes the postseason wins against the San Diego Chargers and Patriots), Denver has given up an average of 15 points and a mere
268.5 yards a contest. What’s more, no opponent has cracked the 20-point
barrier, which is more than enough for Manning to work with. All of a sudden, this once-maligned defense that ranked 27th in the
league in passing yards allowed per game looks rather stifling. Wilson is no Rivers or Brady.

MikeF.. Denver was at home those two games in nice weather and had been beaten by both of those teams earlier in the season. They haven't seen the Hawks this year obviously and the hawks present a much different attack than NE and SD. They also have much more talent than NE and SD
