Note: this post (contest) is for the guys that believe in FIX and SCRIPT.

For the fun of it, I will host a contest to pick the best script for the Superbowl. Whoever in here can come up with the best script from now to the end (including selecting the righ winner ATS), will get $100 from me. I will paypal the money to that person (using PM).

You can post your entry and repost (quote) it along the way. Your last post 1 days before the Superbowl is the final.

    Why am I doing this?
I don't think Superbowl is an event that we should be betting lots of money, so I want to help all of us have fun working on #THESCRIPT.
Maybe someone here on covers can benefit from it and can even use it to bet the Superbowl. I will some of the information to bet the Superbowl.
I see this contest as a way to help me control my betting amount for the Superbowl and still have fun. I will put in a minimal amount this year. I will share my pick. My pick will not determine who will win the contest. We might have 1-2-3 finalist, and the people who join the contest will pick the winner. If I happen to win my Superbowl pick, I will throw in another $50 for the 2nd place winner.

Reminder: this is not a 'capping' contest. It is a SCRIPT writing contest. Throw your capping ability out of the window. Think about how you can help the NFL come up with the #SUPERSCRIPT

You have been talking about FIX and SCRIPT. Now, it is time for you to write one. See if you can do better than the NFL.

Every day out of the red is a big win.

I will submit my OPINION on THE NATIONAL FIXED LEAGUE SUPER BOWL =

    WITH 3 DIFFERENT  SCENARIOS

Here is my First scenario +
IF THE PATRIOTS ARE TRAILING =

The Refs will ONLY CALL 1 OR LESS PENALTIES ON NEW ENGLAND,
While CALLING CRITICAL PASS INTERFERENCE ON EAGLES setting up the PATS FOR A TOUCH DOWN !!!!!
O WAIT THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY TO THE JAGS !!!!!

    1 PENALTY ?????
REALLY????  THE NFL IS JUST LAUGHING AT  NFL IS A LEGIT COMPETITION GUY ,
ALMOST SPITTING IN HIS FACE !!!

    OUTCOME =
Pats WIN another made for TV comeback... SOAP OPERA COMTINUES ....LATE TD RUN BY BRADY (GREATEST QB OF ALL TIME )on the QB SNEAK ???  !!!! While being allowed to HOLD on the O LINE & RUN PICK PLAYS ON KEY DRIVES !!!!!

The NFL is going to hide the fact that it is fixed and scripted.  Philly wins straight up.

    Philly ML is the play.

If there's a pass interference prop against the Eagles I'd go over 2(-150) and over 2.5(-115)

I would BET OVER 2.5 ALL DAY AT -115 , Guessing this would be -220 or more

I would BET OVER 2.5 ALL DAY AT -115 , Guessing this would be -220 or more

The Eagles lead by 3 late in the fourth quarter and the Pats have the ball deep in Eagles territory on third and 10, Eagles sack Brady and fall on his throwing hand injuring it, Eagles get flagged for roughing the passer and put the Pats on the Eagles two yard line after a lengthy delay
Brady calls his own number on a QB sneak and stretches his left non throwing hand to break the plain for the win.

Pats Win 27-23 ........ Eagles cover 5.5 and Total goes Over

    How's that for a Script

This is kinda happens with the JAX game. But we never know, they might use the same script to catch the "conspriracy guys" off guard.

I think this scenario will win the book the most money, but I am warry of the fact that the NFL might award the Pats another ring as the farewell gift to the Pats dynasty. I think they want to create a new Dynasty with a new QB Carson Wenz. It might start next year.

So ML against the Pats is a bit dangerous.

Makes sense and that is smart thinking. But it will be very hard to go back to the Superbowl 3 years in a row.

Dan Marino failed once against the Niners and Montana. He never had a chance to go back.

Prior to 9/11, the Pats were a sub par team for years.  2001, we went to war in Afghanistan, Patroitism, Pats win the SB.  2003-2004, war in Iraq.  2014 and 2016, we are still at War...  Present, still at War, plannning war vs N. Korea, ill stick to the conspiracy theory and put my money on Pats.  6pt teaser to the over.

The Jags covered. NE was lucky the Seahawks messed up on the GL. Last Falcons went into a coma. This SB is like the Pats are playing in the NFC east not the AFC weak, the last NFC east team beat them twice. Eagles +5.5 is the way to go.

Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

With 3 minutes left on there own 7 yard line, and down by 4,
Brady goes in the tent, [CONCUSSION  PROTOCOL].

He comes back out after one timeout[ with or without cape]
and drives down the field on 7 straight passes, then runs into the end  zone  backwards and scores as time expires

    SCENARIO 2 =

THE EAGLES have Dominated the line of scrimmage in many of their WINS, and do so in the Super Bowl ..

Philadelphia Jumps out to a 10-0 lead , and is ALL OVER BRADY , resulting in 3+ Personal Fouls, Maybe a ejection ...

ALL THE BOGUS PENALTIES DO NOT HELP ,

In the END it does NOT matter and the EAGLES WIN BIG by 14+

All you people have no imagination.....here is how stuff is scripted.
Its going to be a multi part reply.
Ever hear of a team called the 1960's GB Packers?   In the LAST of their 5 NFL championships(the last 2 were called Super Bowls), in the next to last game the Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys in the Ice Bowl.   Adding further drama to this....Vince Lombardi and Tom Landry who faced off in that game had been respectively offensive and defensive coordinators of the NY Giants.    Fast forward, Bill Belichek(aka Hoodie) defeated the organization(Jax) lead by his arch nemesis(Tom Coughlin)(who had beat him twice in the SB) in his 2nd to last game as GB coach .   GB's win in SB 2(Lombardi's last game as GB head coach) was anti climatic and the back to back victories in the 1st 2 Super Bowls were Lombardi's reward for catapulting the NFL into the TV age.   Hoodie has never helped his coordinators get jobs but now he is helping them do just that.   Why do you think that is.    Btw, the last time NE won 3 SB in 4 years, the 3rd was won when his two coordinators(Weis and Crennel) were leaving for new jobs.   In THAT game, they also beat Philly, who got to that SB by beating Minnesota and Atlanta respectively(same two teams this yr.)

Don't thin Hoodie is a great coach....do you know how many Super Bowls Bill Parcells coached in when Hoodie was not his defensive coordinator?   That would be ZERO.

Hoodie has said he would not want to face Nick Saban(who was on his staff with the Cleveland Browns)
You want to see how Alabama(NCAAF) is going to win their 3rd title in 4 years next year?   Watch the NE Patriots...
Each of their SECOND championships were games where neither team held the lead until the VERY LAST PLAY against teams from Georgia.   If the script holds, Alabama will beat a team from Pennsylvania(perhaps Penn St.) for THEIR third championship in 4 years.
EVERYONE likes to root against winners....in the 70's, who was America's team?  Dallas....and who won the 4 SBs and was the team of the decade? Pittsburgh.
EVERYONE loves to root against S. Curry and the Golden St. Warriors(who are also going to win their 3rd championship in 4 years).

Everyone knows the NFL is run by BILLIONAIRES, who are in it for the MONEY!!!!
The Atlanta Falcons had a crap season in 2015 and voila, following the 2016 season.....to hype up their new stadium, they get to the SB...and everyone in Atlanta was happy...until they blew the SB, but that's ok...their new stadium at taxpayer expense was built already.

Just to show I'm not predjudice against the NFL....lets look at the NHL....do you see who is on the cusp of making it to the Stanley Cup final in their 1st year of existence?   The Las Vegas Golden Knights of course....what a great way to get everyone excited about the NHL there.

The Raiders are coming to Vegas.....how do you get everyone amped up about the new stadium?   After a losing season(this yr.), you magically appear in the Super Bowl(qb Carr as the NFL MVP) the next yr and you lose, because your coach(Jon Gruden) who must have pictures of someone with Captain Kangaroo(how else does he get hired) cant win two SB's with 2 different franchises because its never been done before....ask Bill Parcells and Mike Holmgren.

Who is going to be the OFFENSIVE juggernaut to lose 3 or 4 Sb's like Denver in the 80's or Buffalo in the 90's.....my guess will be the LA Rams.   THAT will get everyone excited in LA about the NFL, even though the buffoon they have as an owner(from the Walmart money) has insulted everyone there about how the Rams do not have any home field advantage.   You can't fix STUPID, but making it to the SB multiple times will keep the people from tarring and feathering that idiot.   The People of St. Louis sure do love him(note the sarcasm).   Who will they lose to?   Well.....you know the Houston Texans will get a SB win or two like New Orleans did after Katrina.   QB Watson is Michael Jordan in the making(you all witnessed it before he was injured).   I also think the Tennessee Titans get one SB....I see them currently at the same stage as the 1993 GB Packers.   93 GB beat Detroit in the WC round(at Detroit) and lost to Dallas(as 14 pt dogs in the Div round.).  94 they beat Detroit at home in WC round and again lost to Dallas in the Divisional round.    GB, Detroit, and Dallas.....insert, Tennessee, KC, and NE(next yr's loss in WC round should be the end of Andy Reid in KC.   2 years later after 96 season, GB won the SB
