Surprised by one week 3 line

Most of the lines came in within about 1 pt of where I had them. Only exceptions are I had Jets at -4.5,  CLE -4.5, and LV -5, but I'm very surprised by

BAL -1 @ DAL

I had Dallas laying 3. I dont understand how the Ravens should be laying anything on the road in Dallas. I could see it being -2 or 2.5 for Dallas instead of the full 3, but the fact the Ravens are favored seems absurd to me. 

I know Dallas looked bad but what about the Ravens? What am I missing here. Dallas still has a decent offense especially at home and supposedly a decent defense. I know they got gashed by new orleans but I think this is a huge overreaction. 

Thoughts?

I penciled in Dallas -2.5.   Surprising seeing Balt laying on road…..imo that will flip by kickoff but we shall see.

Dallas has Cee Dee Lamb and that's about it, blanket him and what are you left with?  Ravens still have more weapons on Offense and both teams will most likely be 1-2 come week 4 

If the home team is favored laying less than a fG they are a auto fade.

 So like KC, WASH, and ARI who all have covered as less than fg favorites? I think saying its an auto fade is just too simplistic. Home teams laying less than a fg are 3-2 so far.

 I do understand that. Brandin Cooks can do some things and the backup TE isn't bad. Their RB situation is not good obviously. 

Vegas should crush the Panthers at home so i thought i'd take the Panthers if the line hits 7. Panthers are worse than they were last year and have the worst and most hated owner since Art Modell left Cleveland for Baltimore.

You might wanna check the starter for the Panthers. Yeah the Ravens line is a little screwy but they certainly can win.

Ravens look out of sorts. Think people will look at Lamar’s career record vs nfc and jump on them

right i know the cowgirls got trounced but how amazing do the ravens really look. I didnt expect the book to make this big of an adjustment over 1 week 

The Patriots getting 6 at the Jets on TNF seems absurd. 

Must win for Ravens. They cannot afford to go 0-3 

 If you think Vegas will crush Carolina why would you take them at +7? Maybe your definition of a crush is different than mine?

Any team 0-2 this week will be playing for their lives!! A Baltimore team with playoff hopes if not conference title hopes will be playing this game as if it were the Super Bowl. 0-3 is not an option in their heads.

which was the more forgivable performance, I mean it's easier to not get up as much for the raiders than for the saints especially after how saints looked in week 1. dallas got beatdown and should have been more prepared while ravens had a raider team before dallas very easy to nap in that spot. with that said I woudnt bet ravens at dallas on sunday either

especially with the Bills on deck.
