Teaser help...how do they work?

for example..pack is favored by 14...over tampa... would i be able to take the pack to cover by -4 instead of 14... or would i need to take tampa to do it by 24? im kinda confused..can someone explain this to me..id appreciate it..

U can either take the Pack at -4 or Tampa at -24. All ties lose for "special" teasers.

thanks buddy..i appreciate it.. as for the games like a +7.5  dallas/wash... what would that go to 17.5 or  +3...

could i do +3 for the cowboys..or would it need to be washington..im confused how this works..

does that mean if i take the 7.5.. 10 pt teaser it..i can make the cowboys  +2 instead...  meaning if they kick a FG..and win by 3..id win?

Its Really easy dude. just follow real quick. Heres an easy line to help you.

49ers (-10) vs the Cards.

You can either get the Niners Straight up or Cardinals +20.

If you take Cardinals +20, even if the 49ers win 19-0 you still would win that part of your teaser.

If you take the 49ers SU, all they have to do is win and you win that part of ur teaser

You can tease teams 6 points, 7 points, 10 points or 13 points

my only problem now is.. cowboys are already favored by 8...

what would it go too.. 18 or     +2    could that mean id pick the boys to win outright..or does it mean washington comes within 2...

If you take the Boys +2 and the REDSKINS win the game 24-23 you still win the bet

ahhh ok i get it... so by doin that.. making the +8 into a -2     redskins now become the favorite on paper.. thank you so much for all the help...

you do realize that you have to pick more than one team

on a 10 pt teaser... doesnt it go to 0 than into the negatives? ..   -2 in favor of the skins..meaning the cowboys only lose if they lose by 3 more ...

If you took washington on a 10pt teaser it would make them +18.. so cowboys would have to win by 18 instead of only 8

you are all over the place...IF the line is -8 Dallas so it is +8 wash. Okay.. So if you like the redskins in a teaser, then if it is a 10pt teaser you add +10 to the line which would make it +18. But if you liked Dallas, then you add +10 to the dallas line.  -8+10=+2   so now you would have Dallas at +2..

 

and now that you understand that, i will break your heart by saying that 10pt teasers in the long run WILL 100% lose you money... and you should never cross the 0 in a teaser which your dallas +2 does  and only use a teaser if u hit key lines like the 3/7 ...
