Whenever I watch tape of Tebow's throws Im like this guy can't throw and he doesn't belong in the NFL and then I see him run and think that he could be useful as a tight end or fullback. Maybe that was the Patriots' intention to convert him from QB to one of those positions, but it's was Tebow's insistence on being QB that led to his release.

Like someone said before he can't just switch positions to tight end and be good. Guys in the NFL that have played tight end are very skilled at their position. And most have worked pretty hard to be good. Don't think he could just go through a few practices and be a good tight end. Tebow is done, he might as well just do something else. His football career is over.

Hey Bejab, to call Tebow a loser is just wrong. I am not a Tebow fan, nor would I want this guy to QB my team, but a guy who took a team to the playoffs is not a loser. What he did in college is not a loser. You guys act like you know pro football but to say a guy is a loser who not only got to play at the highest level, started and won. Yes , he does rub people the wrong way with some of his comments, but when you look at this league and some other people who are suppose to be stars and just do not produce, and when I say produce that means wins, not fantasy points. In the end that is all that matters. What has Cam Newton done , nothing, fantasy points a great pick. But as a pro QB the loses will just pile up this year again. And before anyone says it is the team around him, give me a break. You cannot judge Tebow one way and Newton another way. Tebow took a team that had a losing record and took them to the playoffs, what has Cam Newton done? Oh yeah, he is a fantasy football pick.

In college he was on the best team with the best offensive line and the best receivers and the best tight ends...which masked a lot of his deficiencies. He was also in a gimmick offense with the options and jump passes and all that, stuff that would never come close to working in the NFL.
As soon as he was drafted by the Broncos, you could see those limitations. When they started off the season terribly and threw Timmy into the mix...it was more about him improvising on the run literally. He was a running quarterback that nobody had game tape on. He used it to his advantage and got some wins. However once teams got used to his style and designed defenses around it...he had to rely on the one thing he couldn't do...run a passing offense.
It really is that simple in the NFL...you can only hide your weaknesses for a short time, and then you have to do something else.

I don't believe TeBlow took Denver anywhere. Denver carried HIM and won in spite of the big, dumb oaf. Or as some wise old sage would say, "Sun even shines on a dog's arse some days". Denver showed what they thought of him when the season ended and they unceremoniously dumped him.
I never thought much of him as a player or a person. Thankfully, there are plenty of monastaries where he can seek "meaningful" work without having to throw a decent forward pass or to do any real thinking.

I agree he isn't a NFL qb but not much of a person? His strong faith makes him not much of a person or his insistence of being a NFL qb ? What kind of horrible things has he done? Every report seems to indicate otherwise.
Seriously, I think a lot of people just don't like how the media portray him as such a "good guy" so they love to see him fail.
