I have my opinions like everyone else. I have done most of my damage in NBA and College BBall this year with a bit of great runs in NFL. Here's my reasonings on why I am backing the Pats.
I think Green Bay, although they couldn't finish, exposed the Seahawks defense with what I would call the perfect formula to beat that defense. A hard running tough to tackle running back coupled with a QB that can throw all day. It kept the Seahawks guessing and unfortunately for GB, they were a big let down in the end to lose that game.
Pats have both of those things. Blout is a hard runner, tough to tackle. Can get you into short yardage situations pretty easily. Brady has been there before and has been on fire this year.
Pats defense has arguably the best secondary in the NFL going up against Seattle's very weak WR core. I see Pats stacking the box and forcing Wilson to beat them with his arm.
I don't see Seattle being able to play with the Pats away from their sacred home. Sure, I know they are familiar with this venue as its in their division, but I also know that Seattle doesn't bring the Legion of Boom away from home.
Call me crazy, but I think Pats roll by 13. Russell Wilson may be one of the greats someday and he's smarter than hell, but I just dont think Seattle's defense will keep him in this game to do anything with his weak offensive core.
