Vikings - better team overall getting points. Last time Turner resigned during the week, Lions survived after a Walsh missed PAT and winning coin toss in OT. Just take a look at the Lions' season so far. They were behind in the 4th Q in ALL 10 games. Like I said - OT vs Minny, 14-2 penalties (one of the more 'stupid' games this year) vs. a much better Philly team, close win against the 2-8 Jaguars (needed the Bortles pick six), vs. Redskins Stafford threw the ball at defender's helms but they survived in the last second, they were OUTGAINED by the Case Keenum offense, made the winning FG at Indy with 4 seconds left. Good teams win big and lose small. Lions aren't a good team. Average offense until the last drive and no defense. Vikings should get their revenge.
Colts - wow. Oddsmakers opened the line at -2.5 and the markets moved the line to -3. That didn't make any sense to me as I felt the line should have been Colts -3 with Luck playing. The Steelers aren't a good team this year, period. Their offense doesn't make the top-10 in any important efficiency category and their defense is bad. They are 2-5 in their L7 games with two wins over the 3-7 Jets and 0-11 Browns. Now they lay 9 on the road on prime time and the markets are telling us that the Colts w/ Tolzien are worse than the 0-10 Browns?? You can't be serious. There is a reason backup QBs cover so many times the first game they are replacing the starting QB. THe markets overreact and the team changes the complete gameplan. Tolzien isn't going to sling the ball around. Let the run game work and throw short passes to those fast receivers. If the Colts jump a 7-0 lead no matter how, it's a 16-0 head start.
Did you see what the refs did to the Texans on MNF? I've said on here the refs would help the Colts to make the playoffs. Don't be surprised when you see something similiar this week. The Colts are going to the playoffs and they are probably going to the Super Bowl. If the Steelers lose this week, they will just be one game behind the Ravens (IF Ravens win) and still have the home game vs. Ravens. Colts need that win quite a bit more to make it easier for everyone.
Not all games are fixed. But you have to be aware. I've learned that at the end the NFL isn't a sports event, it's a moneymaking machine and they don't need to do much to get certain results to make the showact more interesting.

Andrew Luck still is NOT ruled out. Even Ben expects him to play. No one on the Colts staff can name the situation in which Luck got a concussion. Davante Adams had the same slight concussion symptoms after the Sunday game and he was just cleared right before the TNF game.
So I guess there is still a slight chance Luck will play.

No shot Indy will let their francise player play tomorrow, Vegas wouldn't make such a big line adjustment if they believe there's a chance Luck plays. I'm just so happy I jumped on Pitts-2.5 before the news.

the fact that no one on staff can point to a time where he "got a concussion" means very little. it's a misconception that concussions happen on a one play thing. multiple hits through a game can cause issues that show up later that day, tomorrow, or years later. it's not an immediate reaction often times, and many times it can occur from play(s) that don't seem so bad. maybe he plays, maybe he doesn't. i have colts to win division so i'm rooting for him playing and this being some weird lie? but regardless, don't look far into that.

About the Vikings, I'm not sure, you say the Lions are a bad team, but the Vikings are also a bad team. Their offense is terrible with that O-Line, and I'm not talking about stats, but simple eye test, it's terrible. They were up big because of a pick six when the Cards were about to score and then a kickoff return to start the second half, and even then the Cardinals had a chance to win it in the end. The defense is good but no longer the juggernaut everyone was talking about the first 5 weeks, they have allowed 20+ points in each of their past 6 games and they weren't exactly facing the elite of the NFL.
Not trying to bash your pick or anything, you're one of the best cappers here and always read what you have to say, just wanted to give my 2 cents.

I'm with you on Indy.

Vikings have the worst offense in the nfl. Good defense but the offense is literally dead last. Stafford at home on turkey day with a decent defense against Bradford idk im still undecided but this vikings team is putrid.

There was never any doubt. The concussion protocol was too much to overcome in four days. Scott Tolzien will make the start and be backed up by Stephen Morris. Tolzien is the stone minimum $5,000 on FanDuel. His insertion into the lineup downgrades all of the Colts' other skill players.Nov 23 - 3:26 PM

i actually made the argument in my thread that if pitt was -8 @ cleveland last week, they should be at least -8 this week without luck. one, i probably have the colts as being worse than most. two, i'm not saying cleveland without luck is equal to or worse than cleveland (although i probably think it's closer than most), but i think on a short week when you don't even know if you'll have your starting qb in the game until the day before the game, that's a huge problem, especially since i think indy's coaching staff is garbage.
so, i make an argument for the validity of the current line. however, i'm not betting it. i'm usually quick to take the points when a new starter comes in (see LA this week), but not on a short week with a coaching disadvantage.
good luck.

Summa, can you talk about Minnesota offense and what you think their plan is? Run game and Rudolph which opens up the deep ball? Thoughts? Or is this purely a play feeling minny defense just dominates and creates short fields for their offense? I like minny just wondering where your head is at with their OFFENSE. Thanks suuma.
