Stupid coach gonna base the whole outcome of the game on 1yard......one play.  Kick the fg and now you have a better chance to win but i stead chose the whole game base on one play.  Go figure.....  so many bettors got buff ML or buff on the last leg of teaser. 

You got a spare time out to burn, 45yards field goal & walk away lost. That’s an absolute giveaway and poor decision 

it was 4th and 1/2 a yard. Allen averages 5.4 yards per carry, which includes all his sacks. It's a no brainer to go for it. If you play for the tie, you only have a 50% chance to win in OT (even if you think you are better team and have 67% chance, if other team gets the ball first in this kind of game when you have no defense, you have 50% chance at best). 4th and 1/2? With Allen. You get that 75% of the time. 

I was on Titans ML or needed a tie, so there would be chance Bills win by 6 for my parlay, so I am definitely neutral here.

 So many on teaser and parley! I wanted to go big on buffalo moneyline, but i did that last monday and almost lose with the ravens, so i took the +6.5 instead. But lost the under, so went 1-1! Bought the under pick from Doc Sports, and it was a loser! Don't ever buy any of their crap! They suck.

I think Coach McDermott knew his players were getting tired from playing too hard for many games especially their last game against the Chiefs.  His players were emotionally drained, too.  We saw how easily Tennessee moved the ball both running and passing in the second half.  He didn't want OT for his players.  So McDermott made a bold decision to go for it with enough time remaining for a TD.  It was a good call.  Just didn't work out.

Don't buy picks. If you buy anything, it should be a stats page and analysis. Then make your own decision. Win or lose, you will feel good every time that you used your brain and human abilities to play the game.

That is certainly the conservative decision, but the best decision is the one that works out the best in the long run, regardless of the out come of the one play. In Poker, if you have a great hand, you put all your money in them middle, even if opponent has outs. If you play conservative, you won't lose all your money on that hand, but in the long run, you don't make as much. 

They are playing 17 games, not 1. They are playing the long run game. 

If they tie the game, might lose the coin toss and Titans go down the field and close it out. 

Not sure why your hypothetical has any value.

Now, if you say Bills are better than Titans and just need 10 more minutes to prove it, that would be a good reason to tie it. 

It was the most EV decision.  Going for it there you win the game 75% of the time. Going to OT you win 50% of the time. It didn't work out this time

 Go down the field to close it out?!?  They were already down the field with a half yard to go. You people who say this wasn’t the correct decision are brain-dead. Or clouded by your bets/fandom. It was 100% the correct call.

Don’t overthink the decisions made…if Allen doesn’t slip it’s a 1st down and most likely a winning TD. The game has changed similar to college football. If he went in and scored most of you Bills backers wouldn’t be complaining. Tired of the conspiracy theorists thinking these games are rigged or fixed. Honestly, ask yourself what happened prior to that 4th down play? Allen just came up short….move on.
