I've had a choice between watching the Dolphins blow out the pats or a strange Washington-Dallas game in which both offensive units look inept.
The officials are the big winners today. It's gotten to the where I'm looking for the flag on just about every play. Safe to say these games aren't living up to my expectations, and they were pretty low to begin with. The NFL has a problem and I don't think they've got the stones to fix it. These officials have to stop throwing flags of crap that has nothing to do with what happens in the play. But as we all know, asking anything from the officiating ends up backfiring

refs are there to call penalties. most of the time they get it right. occasionally wrong. maybe players shouldnt commit penalties and refs wouldnt have to call them.
viewership is up, so seems the NFL is doing fine
