The Kaepernick ship has already sailed. No NFL owner would risk the public outcry that his national anthem kneel-downs would bring. He is private citizen Kaepernick now without a football stadium to use as public platform for his protest.

Perfectly said lancer,I live in Chicago,the Bears are stupid,but they aint that F-in stupid.Kap will never play again,and he certainly wont be playing for the Bears at Soldier Field.Even them dumbies realize they cant avoid that kinda PR nightmare.

All of you are funny. Kaep is not a communist nor is has a bad QB. He is above and beyond good enough for several teams. Not to mention that the recent turn of events will make hiring him a major PR move. He has support that he never asked for. Any time that signs him will immediately have the top selling jersey. Just watch & see. 
Don't forget that he hasn't been involved in anywhere near the amount protesting the anthem that is whats happening now across all sports at all levels. He may have brought things into a different light but its everyone else that has carried the message. He is just a scapegoat. Everyone wants to point the finger at someone & he is an easy target. 
Get over it already anyway. Its a song. Seriously people. You have all been brainwashed sine you were kids being forced to recite the damn crap in school. Its the equivalent of parents forcing their kids to go to church. For brainwashing. I'm sure all of you who got your panties in such a bunch over the anthem are probably religious too. WTFU!!! Fairy tales aren't true and your feelings about a song & a flag/ country that is crooked as can be are ridiculous. How does it really affect your life? It doesn't. People just want to be upset about something & the government loves it when its bullshit like this. It makes for a great distraction. 
I'm pretty certain that's why Trump the Chump even said what he did. You really think he gives a shiot? He just wants to stir the pot some more.
