The Contenders this year...blah, blah, blah

Anyone remember last year?  Arizona looked like ass down the stretch and almost won the SB.  NO was predicted to be about .500 or a bit better and they are undefeated.  Everyone predicted a rift in MN because Favre came in late and they have one loss.   Colts lost their Hall of Fame coach and are undefeated.  Cincy has layed one egg and are a force.  TN was left for dead and now they are on a lot of people's lists as a team that can do some damage.  Denver goes on a huge run, then looks like crap.  SD looked dead early and now they are starting to roll.

5 more games.  TONS of things can happen between now and the end of the season.  No sense in trying to figure it out now.  If I remember correctly, NE ran the table and then lost in the SB as a 14 point favorite a couple of years ago.  Fun to talk about, but that's all it is....talk.

finally some sense on covers, like the way you think big guy. I hate it when these so called "big" cappers on covers start making anti team threads, i.e. king kappy, saying the pats are overrated.

All that is true, we can still talk about it - most sites have futures bets all season long, and everyone is looking for value, anybody can pick the chalk, it's those who can find the value now in what may happen in the playoffs who will be rewarded, what's wrong with speculating on who this year's Arizona Cardinals may be?

Nothing wrong at all with speculating....I think that is what people should be doing now.  I just think the folks who are guaranteeing MN, NO, or the Colts will be in the SB are a bit pre-mature.  All are impressive, but there is a lot of ball to play.
