I DONT CARE ABOUT NUMBERS, ALL I KNOW IS THAT BIG BEN WINS GAMES AND SUPERBOWLS, PERFECT EXAMPLE OF OPPOSITE OF BIG BEN  IS PEYTON MANNING, EXCELENT NUMBERS IN REGULAR SEASON BUT IN CRUNCH TIME (PLAYOFFS) AWFUL STATS AND MOST IMPORTANT HORRIBLE RECORD...
BIG BEN IS A CLUTCH PLAYER, HE MAKES PLAYS OUT OF NOTHING, AND MOST IMPORTANT WINS GAMES, CHAMPIONSHIPS, PLAY EXCELENT BEHIND AN AWFUL O-LINE (4 SACKS YESTERDAY) AND WHEN THE GAME IS ON THE LINE HE ALWAYS RESPONDS (EXAMPLES: SUPERBOWL VS ARIZONA, YESTERDAY'S GAME) ...

Ben Worthlessburger does not win games, the Pittsburgh Steelers do. If this guy didn't have the O-line and defense he has he would truly look as shitty as he really is!

Are you talking about Big Ben here?  Did you miss the super bowl last year?  I'd say that was a pretty big game.  If he never covers the spread just fade him every week.

Where is everyone getting that the Steelers have a great O-line?  That's one of their weaknesses.

At the early stage of his career i agree that he was supported by an excelent running game (bettis) and the defense is always there, but when the game is on the line he just makes plays, Pittsburgh is his team right now, it amaze me is ability to improvise and makes play out of nothing, you cant scheme against this ...

Totally agree...Read my post from last year called "PITTSBURGH IS A HORRIBLE FOOTBALL TEAM" ....I posted it last year before superbowl and man did I get creamed for that post and that went on for a while..but I do agree there defense is nasty...but there offense is subpar at best and somehow these guys dominate...dont ask me how..its luck if you ask me...

He has always been under appreciated but now he is being OVERrated. Im tired of all this top 3, or top 5 QB non sense
 
Almost any QB could do what he does with the #1 defense and a line that is great at protecting the pass

Yeah he must be overrated because I'm sure many QB's could lead a game-winning-TD-drive in a superbowl with the final play being a corner fade caught in triple coverage...

If that were Brady, Manning, Brees, etc. the game wouldnt need a game winning drive. and im not doubting that he is clutch. in that regard he is at the same level as Manning and Brady
 
however in terms of throwing ability, decision making, and accuracy he is good but not great
 
btw the super bowl pass was beautiful but a horrible decision. triple coverage to the back of the endzone? not the smartest play in the world

DrRays you say that Big Ben has the biggest and best O-line since he has stepped on the field? Well, I disagree he has been sacked about 192 times since he's been in the NFL. And besides, did you watch the Titans game? He was under pressure the whole game. He's always under pressure. I suggest you watch a Steelers game.

And you also say that ESPN pumps Big Ben up larger than what he is? Well, I respectfully disagree. If you really want to see an overrated Quarterback his name is Tony Romo. ESPN always says that Ben holds on to the ball too long.

And you say Brady is better than Ben. Well, Brady has a better O-line and a better recievers. Brady has always had big named recivers next to him. Now Im not saying Brady is not a good Quarterback, Im saying he has better recivers and a better O-line.

I think that Ben could be THE BEST Quarterback in the leauge if the Steelers do something about that O-line. I think that sometimes he does hold the ball too long, but he's trying to make a play. Again my opinion everyone is entitled to one.

Anyone bashing ben either has no knowledge about the game at all or is just bein a hater.  To you guys bashing him i'll give you the benefit of the doubt and believe your just hatin.  He plays behind an average O-line at best(which I do look to improve as the season goes on).  Brady and Manning play behind far better lines.  That being said no one football player can make a team good.  All the greats have had good lines and good D's.  Yes ben is fortunate to have a great D but his line is mediocre.  The only plays he had time last night were when ten only rushed 4, when they blitzed he was scrambling or takin the quick hitters.  In other words he was simply taking what the d gave him and doing his job.  He fights off so many sacks I cant say enough about his intangables.  Yes he holds onto it too long sometimes but hes a playmaker gotta take the good with the bad, his positives far outweigh the negatives.  Even tho he would never say it because hes a professional and a good teammate, but he would kill to play behind our lines of the 90's or early 2000's.  If he was around then we'd have another 2-3 trophies in the case.  He really is one of a kind at his position right now.

Big Ben seems to always come through in the clutch.  But on the other hand, Shaq did pick him off in there competition.

Big Ben took a team that was 6-10 the year before he arrived and "AS A ROOKIE" produced a 15-1 record, one of just 5 teams in the 31 year history of the 16 game schedule to win 15 games or more in a season.
 
In the process he produced the "ALL-TIME NFL RECORD QB PASSER RATING FOR A ROOKIE, 98.1.
 
Seems Big Ben has done some things on a "HISTORICAL LEVEL, and talk all you want about his defense but  a defense does not help a QB pass the ball better it may help win games but it "DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIS ALL-TIME QB PASSER RATING AS A ROOKIE, OR HIS ALL-TIME 4TH BEST AVERAGE GAIN PER PASS ATTEMPT".

Gotta love the STEELERS homers who come in here and blame it on the o-line. Even the announcers said it. Ben went up to his o-line and apologized for making them look so bad. The guy doesnt know when to throw the ball away. It was the Steelers o-lines fault he lost 19yards on that 1 sack right?  They pushed him back 19yards right? Ben doesnt understand when to throw the ball away. Lots of times he makes great plays, but lots of times he fucks his team up. He's pretty good, but far from great. Gotta love the homers, keep blaming the o-line. 19yards Olines fault  Ive heard it all.

And of course when the O-line gives Ben 13seconds to find a throw, "Ben is so good" ....Please....my arthritic 99yr old great grandmother can do that.

He now owns more 4th quarter comebacks than any QB playing in the NFL.
