the Rams of California vs The Packers of Wisconsin

We need to throw out the Tampa Bay and last years San Fransisco debacles.  The Packers are a different team today.  First lets start with the offense.  Last year was their 1st in this new system.  Improved offensive stats from the McCarthy days, but too inconsistent and not physical enough to handle the tough defenses, they got bullied.  Big steps taken this year two with Lafleur.  Rodgers became more comfortable with the system, the O-line improved and the Running game became more physical.  The improvement of the TE position was also a key in the evolution of this offense from year 1, Rodgers now has a safety net and they simply don't turn the ball over.. The Rams on the other hand are battered.  Who's starting at QB, is Kupp playing, can the offense score enough to keep up with the packers? 

Another key factor in this game is rest. The Rams have come off of three tough physical games and now have to fly into Wisconsin vs a well rested and VERY healthy Green Bay team minus their LT.   The Rams on the other hand have two big question marks.  Who will start at Qb and will Donald be effective- how serious is his injury.  Big edge Green Bay. 

We all know how good the Rams defense is.  Number One ranked in the league.  But who have they really played?  Only two teams IMO with an actual offense.  Tampa who scored 24 and Buffalo who scored 35.  Moving to the Packers, their defense has vastly improved over the final 5 weeks of the season. they gave up under 20 points in all but one game, and if weren't for a late garbage Td by the Lions it would've been 5/5.  I don't expect the rams to score much Saturday.

Biggest factor for me in this game is the QB position.  Does anyone in here really believe that Aaron Rodgers is losing to Wolford/Goff?   I don't

No they aren't. They are the same regular season team they've been for 10 years, that then dies in the playoffs. 

They are nothing more than...Rodgers and oh yeah, some other guys in green shirts in the game.

He was with the Rams the year they lost wild card game to Atl. He was not with Rams when they went to SB. 

McVay has more experience as head coach and in big games. Lafleur has one choke job.

The temp isn’t going to be “20 degrees.” In fact at no point between now and kickoff is the temp projected to drop below 24 & the high Saturday afternoon (likely around kickoff) is 34.  It’s been steadily increasing all week.  Just FWIW.

After defeating SEA as a HF, LAR beat TB as an AD.  After losing and failing to cover as an AD at SEA, LAR won and covered as a small HF vs. AZ.

 do you live in Wi.. Do you trust the weather channel. it can change in a second in Wisconsin. Sat am they will be cleaning snow from the 2 nights prior. there is always a chance it can continue into the next night and Oh btw  when it's warm is when the snow falls. Not when its freezing. weather will not be a factor here. The factor here is these Ram lovers thinking green bay will lay another Egg and lose to a Shity as team who beat Seattle who sucked all year too. A team who lost to the Jet's and could of won the Division if they didn't a team with only a few guys on Defense to talk about and they aren't 100 % healthy. God this will be more fun to comment sat night when the game it over. I hope all you ram lovers dont crawl under a rock and can't take defeat like a man or woman or whatever you want to call yourself these days.

They do not have a best kicker or wide receiver. They have currently statistically good ones. Rams HAVE best defensive end. Best CB. Best defense.

Many players on both sides played on pro and college teams in cold weather States  At some point. They all have experience. They all hate it..

 who is the best Wide receiver in the NFl if its not adams this year. As a HC in GB, Matt LaFleur is 6-0-0 SU and 4-2-0 ATS as a HF in DEC and JAN.

Sean McVay is 3-2-0 SU and 4-1-0 ATS as an AD in DEC and JAN.

While the Sports Database lists "temperature" as a parameter, that particular data point apparently has not been entered this season.

Pay attention.. I said  statistically best now. That does not mean best long term. He's this year's regular season darling. Doesn't mean success in playoffs...see 70s Rams and 80s Chargers, 80s Brown's etc..

 The 1st half should be key with GB off a bye. LAR have a proven track record of winning games where they hold the lead at the end of the first half. If for some reason GB stumbles in the 1st half then they may be in trouble. Like the 1st half bet though. GL

Nothing I said proves Rams will win?  Number one defense. Nunber 1 defense, number one defense.

 its all good and fun until someone gets hurt and that will be the rams and their coach.. They have all this pressure to go into Green bay and display this awesome defense. when the packers D feels like chump change. watch the glory here. the announcers will talk about how the green bay defense stepped up in this game and how well the offense played as well. Because we know the rams offense has no chance to play in a shoot out with A rod.

 Because he likes the Rams. I’ve been lurking here for a while, I’m pretty sure I recall him saying he was a Rams fan or something and they were set up for the future around last NFC title game. Either way, he’s trying to convince himself that athletes have played in this weather so it’s not an advantage. It’s hilarious. I’ve seen so many actual players say it’s an advantage if you’re used to playing in it. I watched the Collinsworth podcast with Richard Sherman, and he was just saying how it takes some of these guys like a quarter to actually play football and trust their feet. Especially the corners, they can’t be as aggressive with their feet. 

Trying to convince myself? Players on each team are from all over the country. They aren't some  10 year old that never traveled.
