The league can't allow their darling to fall too many games behind at this point, that's why. Of course I could be wrong, but that's why they play the games...

The PI and the offensive holding calls are more terrifying than VAR, in Amer. football. I dread every game, thinking, "are they gonna turn back great plays today? Stop momentum buiding drives with phantom calls? Or help a team on a 3rd and long with PI?
It's always there, back of the mind, lurking.
VAR offsides though are helpful. Holding and PI are completely subjective and non reviewable, so definitelymore terrifying for a bettor than soccer.

Well I actually thought that when the LAR were in GB territory, could have had a FG try....3rd and 10 and they call time out. I thought" Maybe they're calling the League Office, finding out what outcome they want...." (LOL) It was just a tin foil hat moment....
Next play Stafford throws an INT and NO POINTS for the Rams. Red Zone Fail.
