I have been looking at about 5 plays for this week and in the end I decided to go with the only home dog in that group. It is always scary to go against a hot team like Carolina, winning week after week, covering line after line, but in this league anyone can win on any given Sunday. Carolina won and covered 6 in a row, including two against good teams in last two weeks and two other against divisional opponents. This is their third straight game against non divisional opponents and after this game they play two straight against divisional rivals including a big game against their divisional leaders New Orleans Saints. Last two weeks they won by 4 and by 1, both times in low scoring, defense minded games, and both times in different time zones. Last week they came back with a late TD to edge the Patriots and the week before that they won with a late 53 yards FG to beat the 49ers. Their last two games were big statement games for them played out West and then on Monday night and they have a short week to prepare and to re-energize after 2 big wins. Their game against the Patriots was the first home MNF game in 5 years. The hype was huge especially after a big win in SF. As for Miami, they are hard to figure out, running hot and cold all season long. However, there is one thing that I like about them, and I like that a lot. They are 2-0 this season as home underdogs and those home underdog wins came in last two home games, against Cincinnati and San Diego. So, they have those wins in recent memory and I expect them to carry the momentum over to this game against Carolina. They have a big game against the Jets coming up but they can not afford to look ahead to them here.

I think your wrong. Miami is so terrible on so many levels and Carolina has the hot hand and are very confident. Miami beat Cincy and San Diego...that's not really saying a lot and this team is a lot better than either one of those in my opinion. I think you've made a mistake but like you say any team can win on any given Sunday in the NFL so it's always possible. I'm picking Carolina but I"m not actually betting on them so I hope you win it and that i'm wrong. I personally don't care for the Panthers cause I don't like Cam Newton so I'd like to see them lose.

I understand road chalk is bad to bet on in the NFL but....there are certain exceptions such as Miami's offensive line is just that bad...I like home dogs but not with a home dog with probably the worst offensive line in the league

very impressive approach. i really hope the readers will evaluate your write up as a guide to a game and not as blind tip to follow. everyone reading this imo should ask himself if he thought about the points raised here and if he did not and took some position previously - to reconsider it.
i wish you a good luck and one way or another like to congratulate and thank for the contribution to peoples overall capping skills.

"It is always scary to go against a hot team like Carolina, winning week after week, covering line after line." So let me get this straight. You know they are a covering machine and then you put your money on Miami.
