I love how people just make s h I t up around here. Here is the actual stat/trend for teams trying to repeat once they have gotten to the SB:

“in the history of the Super Bowl, SB participants that are attempting to repeat like Kansas City is have been successful in eight of 12 tries.”

So in reality, it’s actually easier, and not more “difficult,” to repeat, once you are in the big game.
