Pitt @ Balt
-Ravens look surprisingly awesome against their bitter rival. 
-Ravens forced 4 turnovers.
-Steelers forced 0 turnovers.
-Ravens 170 Rushing Yards.
-Steelers 66 Rushing Yards.
-No injuries for Ravens.
-Harrison left in 4th with knee injury.  Should be fine.
-Ravens travel to Tennessee next week at 1 PM.  Then travel to St. Louis at 4 PM week after.
-Steelers go home to take on Seattle at 1 PM.  Then travel to Indy on Sunday night week after.

This game seemed like a must win for the Ravens.  They couldn't lose that game week 1 to Pitt and expect to win the division.  Big win for Baltimore, but I expect Pitt to bounce back big next week.  Should they be favored by 2 TDs?  I don't know, but they will be an angry bunch next week.  Baltimore can't overlook Tennessee next week.  This is a nice letdown spot for Baltimore.  With Baltimore winning so convincingly and the Titans losing by 2 in Jax, I expect most people will pound Baltimore.  Getting 6 points at home could look tasty for the Titans in week 2.

Falcons @ Bears
-Bears looked pretty awesome at home against Atlanta.  Their defense gave up yards, but were able to keep the points off the board. 
-Cutler, Forte, and Urlacher all had great games.
-Falcons lost 2 fumbles and Ryan threw 1 INT.
-Bears had 3 fumbles, but didn't lose any of them.
-Falcons averaged 7.9 yards per rush in a losing effort.
-Roy Williams hurt his groin for the Bears.
-I didn't see any injuries for the Falcons.
-Atlanta goes home to host Philly next Sunday night.  Week after they go to Tampa for a 4 PM game.
-Chicago travels to New Orleans next week for a 1 PM game.  Week after they host Green Bay at 4:15. 

I don't know what to make of this game.  Bears usually are strong at home, but I guess the Falcons defense just sucks.  When their offense gets it together, it looks like they will have high scoring games.  I could see people trying to get cute and take the Falcons next week, but I think the Eagles win a high scoring game.  However, it is a pretty huge game for the Falcons considering they could lose in Tampa the week after.  This seems like a sandwich game for the Bears.  They have a big win at home against the Falcons, go into New Orleans and get buried, then play a tough game against Green Bay the week after.

The biggest weakness for the Falcons is their defense.

Cam Newton is better than expected.

Chargers cannot cover the spread.

Saints @ Packers
-Both QBs looked awesome and both secondaries looked pretty bad.
-Packers covered a 4 point spread at home by 4 points.
-Both teams have extra rest for Week 2 games.
-Colston broken collarbone.  Out for a month.
-Lance Moore is pretty critical for Week 2.  Check his status later in week.
-Tramon Williams and Nick Collins were hurt for the Packers.
-New Orleans hosts Chicago at 1 PM Sunday with extra rest.  Week after New Orleans hosts Houston at 1 PM Sunday.
-Green Bay travels to Carolina at 1 PM Sunday with extra rest.  Week after Green Bay travels to Chicago for a 4:15 PM game Sunday.

Green Bay looked great, but New Orleans doesn't have the best secondary in the league to say the least.  Packers look like they will be able to win most games they play this season.  I am not quite sure about the Saints, but they get Chicago at home in a sandwich game coming off a loss, which means they should have some value Sunday.

Bengals @ Browns
-Bengals defense looks pretty good, but that isn't say much against Cleveland.
-Andy Dalton looked pretty poised in the limited time he played.
-Browns had a tough time rushing the ball, 3.2 avg per rush.
-No injuries for the Browns that I saw.
-Bengals travel to Denver for a 4:15 PM game Sunday.  Then host SF 1 PM next Sunday.
-Browns travel to Indy for a 1 PM game Sunday.  Then host Miami 1 PM next Sunday.

I didn't watch much of this game besides the highlights and on red zone, but it seems like Cinci's defense could be pretty decent.  Or Cleveland could just be horrible.  I wouldn't touch them as a road favorite in Indy.  Bengals could be a decent bet traveling to Denver catching points, but it's not a play I love.

1. Detroit is legit
2. KC is horrible and keep losing key guys
3. Rams are really banged up
4. Grossman and WASH are a good fit
5. Atlanta's defense still stinks
6. The Bills are vastly improved
7. GB's offense is scary good
8. Pitt looked old and slow
9. Dallas will be fine
10. Pats are who we thought they were, very good
11. Hugh Jackson was a good hire for the Raiders

denver is still horrible on all aspects of the game

The biggest thing we learned is the defenses are still pretty far behind the offenses!!!

Colts @ Texans
-This was first half domination by the Texans. 
-Shaub was decent, not great.
-Brackett and Sims were both hurt for the Colts and could possibly not play Sunday.  Would be a big blow to their linebacking core.
-Need to see the status of Foster and Ward for Texans game in Miami.
-Colts have to realize they need to run the ball more now that Manning is not the QB.
-Both teams averaged around 4.0 yds/carry last week.
-Colts 4 turnovers killed them.
-Colts host Cleveland at 1 PM.  Then host Pitt next Sunday Night.  This week is a must win for the Colts.
-Texans host Miami at 4:15 Sunday.  Then go to New Orleans next Sunday at 1 PM.

Even though the Texans won this game comfortably it does not mean that the Texans are that good, nor at the Colts that bad.  Colts will get better each week.  Texans look like a decent bet on Sunday with Miami on short rest.  Texans will definitely throw on Miami's secondary like the Pats did this week.  Colts could have some nice value at home this week getting points at home.

1 Saints D has now allowed 83 pts last 2 games (incl postseason loss to Seahawks )

2 SB losers now 0-12 ATS in opening game of next season since 2000.    Also, it's tough to beat a division rival (Ravens) 3 times in a row 

3 Offenses are ahead of defenses right now.    14 QB's passed for 300+ yds in Week 1

4 Tom Cable built a good rushing attack in Oakland before he was released....#2 in the NFL last year.    Raiders have now beaten division opponents 8 straight times

5 Matt Ryan is a bit overrated, Cutler is a bit underrated.   Both were sacked 5 times, but one difference is that Cutler can throw on the run, Ryan not so much.    Also Falcons seemed to have conditioning problems, at least compared to the Bears.   Both teams have questionable offensive lines

6 Speaking of shaky OL play, Seahawks had trouble getting the pass game going because they keep everyone in to protect Tavaris Jackson.   TE Zach Miller had only 2 catches because he spent most of the game as a blocker.    I wouldn't be surprised if Hawks get shut out @ Pittsburgh

Titans @ Jaguars
-I don't know what happened to Tenn's rushing attack.  CJ went 9 for 24 yards.
-Neither of these teams are any good. 
-Kenny Brit is a beast.
-Jaguars looks like they could be a nice under team with the amount of times they will run the ball this year.
-Bailey and Williams were hurt for the Titans.
-Kampman and Miller may still be out for the Jaguars.  If they play that will be a huge boost. 
-Lewis, Britton, and Cox all suffered injuries for the Jaguars.
-Titans host Baltimore at 1 PM.  Then host Denver at 1 PM the next Sunday.
-Jaguars travel to New York to face the Jets at 1 PM.  Then travel to Carolina for a 1 PM game. 

This game was pretty boring for the most part.  Neither of these teams are very good.  Their defenses are decent at best.  Jags are getting a lot of points this week against the Jets.  I kind of like the Jaguars getting this many points, but it could be a long day for McCown.  Both teams will run the ball a lot, so I could see the Jaguars covering in a low scoring game.  Tennessee has the first of two home games.  Balt will be getting a lot of public love, which could mean some nice value for Tennessee, but the Titans aren't very good.  CJ will probably have another hard time rushing against Baltimore's D.

Remember what happen when they beat the pats week 1 31-0. Howd that year turnout?

Don't get me wrong, a very impressive win, but the Chiefs are a 8-8 team at best this year

Chiefs are 6-10 at best.

The new rule change sucks. Long commercial break, then the kickoff from the 35 and it sails for a touchback. Shortly, its another long commercial break.

sick thread... but in my opinion, the titans got lucky to get 14 points againts the jags. they played like shit!!! and that linebacker missed the tackle on the td pass to kenny britt. C'mon man! lol, i think the ravens look good again this week,.
