Missing what point?  Sanders catches that ball at the 10 yard line and they run clock...you have to at least make that a catchable ball or even under thrown and possibly draw a PI...Jimmy choked plain and simple the entire 4th quarter...U want to blame Shanny...yet the play was their for the go ahead score or at worse down at the 15 or 10 yard line....Hilarious...

They can't run the clock because KC has all 3 timeouts

It's a stupid play, no matter how you look at it.

If the guy scores, KC has the ball with 2 minutes left and 3 timeouts...you lose the game anyways.

It's just the job of being a complete moron imo....somebody has to play the fool, as the old song goes.

U are assuming KC scores after and don't burn all their timeout...with little over a minute to go...
Also prior to being 1st and 10 @ the 50...They threw the ball on the previous 2 downs to get to the 50..Now u are complain that they threw the ball 4 straight times after that..Did u complain they threw ball twice before that and gained 8 and 16 yards to get to the 50....Nitpicking hear...

Yeah they'll score.  They were torching the 9ers d in the 4th quarter.  It's like putting Tom Brady back on the field.

It's not like San Fran can run the clock out...they have to score a TD, down 4.

Yeah I'm complaining that they didn't run the ball.  Or at least mix it.  If you think they should have passed the ball, hey we just have a different opinion.

It's like this you have 2 choices:

-You get the ball at the 50, you can run the clock out and score a TD OR...

-You give Mahomes the ball, 3 timeouts and the 2 minutes left, up 3 (a fg ties it, a TD wins it)

Which one do you choose.

It's a loser no matter how you look at it, imo.

imagine being responsible for two of the biggest blown leads in the Super Bowl and all of them in the 4th quarter when the probablity of winning is pretty much 99.9%. this is like the  equivalent of the Buffalo Bills losing 4 straight Super Bowls. yea will Kyle Shanahan recover from this... long road to redemption ahead.

U want them to run the ball on the 50 with 1:49 left on the clock...You know how Long a running play takes and to get lined up after...U burn 20-25 seconds minimum and then u have to substitute for your passing plays, which will allow the D to substitute and more time will burn off... The 2 previous downs they passed and got 24 yards.....It was working....Jimmy G just sucks balls and is a game manager...The plays were there..he just did not make them...

sanders beat his guy by 5 yards...Play was executed by everyone except Jimmy...Plain and simple...Shanny and Jimmy would be Super bow Champions if he makes that play that most QB's do....He choked and choked big time...Your QB has to make plays..plain and simple...But its all Shannys fault....Qb could not throw the deep ball to a wide op WR....SMH...

yeah no question, he underthrows that ball it's an easy PI

I had the total so I'm looking at it from that perspective

Garropolo was terrible...

That's why I said they need to run the ball, because they would have had success imo.

It is what it is..a stupid coach and a terrible qb.  The rest of the team dominated...they were winning the yards per play easy...harassing mahomes... d just got gassed
