hey,quite a few really,really respectable guys here at covers are loving the lions with +7 or +7.5 if they got in earlier...which side do you lean on the spread and how confident in terms of % in the cover??....obviously you like cowboys but its a long way from ML to 7 point win and dallas are very,very poor(particularly at home) as favourites arent they??

To be honest when I initially layed the Teaser I thought Suh was going to be out. Without him and Fairly, the Cowboys would just run all over this Lions team and throw in the occasional play action to Dez. Game over.
It is hard laying more than a TD in the playoffs for sure. Still, that being said.......I cannot see the Cowboys losing this game. I tend to throw out the trends and factual analysis come playoff time, as it really is a different game. Motivation is not a factor...no one is looking ahead.....its simply "Go time"
Yes the Cowboys are traditionally choke artists with Romo at the helm......and I love that fact. I am a Giants fan. I don't blame people for liking the Lions. Personally I just see a different Cowboys team than we are used to. They have a different feel, perhaps a different mentality. I mean, they can really run the football now. That hasn't been the case since Smith and with him came Superbowl championships.
I hated the Cowboys then. I hated Smith, I hated Irvin.
This team. Brings back those memories.

Lions are notorious for backdoor covers. Hence my teaser. If you can get 6.5 I think it is a gift. I would decrease my bet as it climbs from there.

There is a reason I teased them. I think the biggest jump in over/under betting is to get to the mid 40's from high 30's. It is very difficult for these two teams to get over that mid 40 hump. I would hate to push on a 21-17 or lose on a 21-20 type game. gives us a little cushion in case of a kick return or pick 6 type play that could kill such a low line.
I think the Cowboys are the only play at -6.5. Lions do nothing for me.

If AJ Green is a no-go Campdog, you may consider changing to the Colts Strait up. Not sure if they can put enough on the board without him to beat Luck
