Thurs NFL- Big Play

70-59 ytd


Jags-3- I live near Nashville and see the Titans play alot and love the Jags this week. Not concerned with the Bortles injury at all. Line currently off at my book, but placed my bet ytd. Will be adding more later. Will try to post a write-up later in the week, if anyone is interested.

I'd lean this play also. Despite the fact that Whitehurst beat the Jags last year, I don't think the Titans have much to lean on offensively. Of course, neither do the Jags really but in this battle of the bottom feeders I'll take home field favs. I think the Jaguars defense and Gerhart can do enough to cover.

I'm not a huge trend better but in situations with lousy teams like these they'll factor in a little bit more. The Jaguars are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight games against the Titans.

However, I ultimately think the Under 41.0 is the play here. Both dreadful offenses with average defenses. Neither team has the ability to put up big numbers nor do I see any scenario where the coaches get aggressive. The UNDER is 7-3 over the last 10 meetings between these two teams.

Alec-

Titans have been destroyed by injuries. Their O-Line is in shambles and will have to start their 3rd string QB and they have no play makers and can't play defense. The Jags are not a good team either, but they are a team that continues to improve. I feel Jags will be very motivated for a TNF game and make this there Superbowl. Titans played very hard last week and lost. Can't see them being ready on short rest to face a motivated team.

I hate sweating totals though. I've probably played maybe 2 or 3 all season so far. I'll likely stick with the chalk.

Really want making tenn/ jax un now, but one thing I have worrying about defs from both teams... Tenn has given up by 28ppg/
Jax by 27ppg.... No play un for me by now

I don't know if I fully intended to say that Gerhart will have a big day when I wrote that. I think he'll produce but there are definitely more offensive options with the Jags than there are with the Titans IMO.

Sure but isn't that average established because of other, better teams beating up on them and opening up their barely average defenses? This is a battle of the bottom feeders let's not forget.
