Yeah, his passing stats are pretty bad, but it’s still impressive to take over as the starting QB of a 1-4 team and then have a 3-1 record.

Broncos need to embrace this different style and stop trying to make him an NFL QB... a team that can run no matter how much the other team commits to stopping the run, can be very successful in the NFL, especially with a good defense...

Dude threw for 69 yards, and ran for 43 yards? 



Stop it with that winning shit, if you can throw for 69 yards, and run for 43 yards and win week to week in the NFL.

Then the NFL has just become USFL football

He is 3 - 1 even though they have been out-scored 94 - 83 in those games. Also John Skelton is 4 -2 as a starter, (2 - 0) this season for a team that was 1 -6, but I think most people would say the Eagles lost the game today, instead of Skelton and the Cardinals winning it.

Problem with this is they don't have any good rbs. NoShow Moreno is the Bob Sanders of all rbs. McGahee is injury prone as well. No real receiving threats either.

Then to top it off, their defense is mediocre at best.

But hey, a win is a win.

They would of won 31-10 if Orton was in the game.  And they wouldn't of gotten blown out by Detroit at home, either.

The defense won that game today.

Defense played decent today. It was the combination of a run heavy, time consuming offense plus Cassell's ineffectiveness that lost the game today imo.

And who is Orton throwing to when he's under a heavy pass rush since he's no where near Tebow in terms of mobility?

He has beat teams with a combined record of 11-17, let's not get carried away.  Give him a full season and you will see how he is just another back up QB.

it's the nfl - where people said he doesnt belong. how can you discredit someone who is winning

Tebow could win a super bowl MVP and there would still be haters saying “big fucking deal.”

It’s kind of sad how many people hate this kid and want him to fail.

There's no hate here, I just don't get this blind faith in him he hasn't had a good game once.  His RB's and D have been playing lights out.  Yes, they won today, but he went 2/8 for 69 yards.  Seriously? That's good?

i agree.  but the thing is you can't hide in the nfl if you have no talent.  of course, he's beaten two of the worst teams in the league and caught oakland in their transition week.  when he played detroit, we saw how that went.  denver goes back to playing nfl caliber teams starting next week so i think we'll get a better idea if he's really that bad. 

my guess is he's not even close to being an nfl qb.  but you're right, as long as he's winning, you can't take that away from him.  i'll be interested to see how he does the rest of the season.
