If I do one thing before I die, it'll be to end this nonsense in sportsbetting.

If you like the play enough to do that big long write up, then you're set on your pick.

If you're set on your pick, why the hell give the book 15 cents on the dollar, let alone 75 cents by passing the moneyline (+155).

It's not about the teams, it never is.  It's about the value from your sheet / viewpoint to what you can get.  If you need a hook, it's a pass.  If you don't, then you don't need the points at all.  

Also maybe it covers by the hook this time, maybe Tennessee wins by 14, but for Christmas sake people need to stop giving away value.
