Houston Texans offense vs the Philadelphia Eagles defence: is a very good matchup. The Texans are ranked 7th in offense, and the Eagles are ranked 10th in defence. One important factor in this game will be whether the Eagles can force turnovers. They are tied for 1st in getting turnovers, while the Texans don't give up the ball often. The one thing that changes this matchup is pressure. The Eagles are 8th in sacks while the Texans are 19th in giving up sacks.

It is really hard to bet against Michael Vick at the moment. Philly averages 400 yards per game on offense and 28 points for as well. Vick has proven to be a prolific passer in the NFL this season having just thrown his first interception of the season last week.I do believe The Texans will find a way to get down the field and score with their good balance attack. However, there's no way they can stop Michael Vick. He will torch the Texans both by throwing and by running.I am expecting some big plays down field on the weak secondary on the Texans. I do believe Eagles Defence will come out to play at home this weekend as well. Asante Samuel if he plays is a huge addition for the Eagles and as of now it looks like he will be in the line up.

welcome FP I completely agree w/ all of your points. I believe the Eagles will get the ground game going a bit bringing up the Houston safties then Vick can do his thing downfield. This was the only thing I saw differently in their matchup w/ the Bears they seemed to abandon run a little to early even though they were having success and Vick didnt have as much open downfield against a fast Bears defense. Eagels are every bit as dangerous as any offense in this league if they call the right that gives Vick a little help. Run the damn ball more!!!

I believe that the philly defence will get some stops and contain the Houston Offence. Also Vick should be able to light up DBs like this all day against the Texans whether the receivers are double covered or not. Good luuck to you l2bm, Appreciate your input

The Eagles Can really use a win here to seperate themselves more from the Giants as they hold an advantage. I see em coming to play and I think Eagles take this one by Two touchdowns. It is so hard for me to see Houston go in on a short week and contain Vick and that offence. Defensively i think Eagles will come up with stops which will allow them to expand on the lead. First, the Eagles rarely lose two games in a row especially in a late season run towards the playoffs and second, the Texans’ defense is still extremely suspect, despite last week’s performance. Look for Philly to get back to its winning ways with another offensive explosion in Prime Time.
