Thank you fellas! And all the best to you this season!
Bummer that Rogers got an ankle injury. Looks bad!
But JETS will be OK with Wilson and that defense! They may lose tonight but they will be competitive.

Just one score down for the JETS. BILLS O have not exactly impressed through 3Qs. Now have to start from their 15.

So after a 3rd INT by J Whitehead, Jets have the ball at midfield.
Here's my prediction: IF Jets fail to score a TD on THIS drive, they will lose and fail to cover. You only get so many good opps and this may likely be their last one in great field position....

....and they followed my advice and Wilson directed a TD.
Now after an unlikely 4th turnover by the BILLS, WILSON can chew clock and direct a game leading FGA

Unfortunate for JETS backers but after the luckyass doink-FG to send it to OT, JETS luck has likely run out now......or maybe one more big break

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers will miss the rest of the 2023 NFL season after suffering a complete tear of his left Achilles tendon, according to multiple sources
My take: Rogers career is over. With more aggressive play-calling by JETS coaching, Wilson will improve, plus the JETS will likely draft a decent QB not knowing Rogers status for the 41 yr old in 2024. It's tough to comeback from an achilles tear when one is much younger, let alone Rogers age. Regardless, he will hang them up.
This illustrates again why selling the farm to buy a single rooster (an OLD one with very limited upside at that) is typically a BAD idea. It worked for Tampa but usually it backfires. For owners with extremely deep pockets I suppose it doesn't matter, but it does cause rising inflation among other QBs - and of course that trickles down to even more exhorbitant ticket prices and associated costs to football fans.

By the way, amid all the talk about how tough it will be for the hopeless JETS (I am not a fan per se, btw) we must still remember one important fact: they just beat the highly rated BILLS! They sit atop the AFC East standings and the highly rated Bills are on the bottom
And the JETS did so with Zack Wilson at QB, but without a decent edge rusher, Carl Lawson.

Meanwhile I suspect the Jets will improve by at least one full win over last year.

I like the EAGLES to win Thursday night over the Vikings.

A defiant Aaron Rogers said:
"The night is darkest before the dawn. And I shall rise yet again."
Hmmm.........nah.........he's toast.
And that's even IF he can recover by next fall from a torn achilles. For many, that injury lingers. At his age, I have my doubts he takes to the field again in a regular season game.
Next August please hang them up Aaron before you embarrass yourself....
Hanging on like that, at age 40, is embarrassing....

BUCS didn't play particularly well with their brand new QB, but still won on the road against a team rated far better than daaaaaaaa Bears.
And now Baker Mayfield and the resurgent BUCS get those struggling Bears - who, on home field, allowed 38 points from a mediocre Packer team - now at home in Tampa.
And Bucs are the underdog?? What are we missing aside from Mayfield having a twinge in his shoulder??

I dunno if the RAMS are so awful they should be getting +7.5 or +8 points as a home dog...... Seems to me niners might be over valued just on the result of only one game for the second consecutive road game....

I like the EAGLES to post a turnaround field performance tonight and Vikes performance of 5.9 ypp to drop off significantly now that they are on the road against a quality team.......but there are question marks to injury status on both teams and I will wait to game time to be sure....

The Eagles: running back Kenneth Gainwell (ribs), cornerback James Bradberry (concussion) and safety Reed Blankenship (ribs). Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (ribs) is questionable, linebacker Nakobe Dean (foot) injured reserve and cornerback Zech McPhearson (achilles) injured reserve
The Vikings: center Garrett Bradbury (back), linebacker Marcus Davenport (ankle) is questionable and left tackle Christian Darrisaw (ankle) is questionable

Losing Blankenship from the secondary is a big hit. The man had 12 tackles last week (7 solo!) But they also lose Bradberry! And they still have backup Goodrich questionable so they look a bit thin in the secondary.
They also lose DEAN at LB. He was second on the squad with 7 tackles last week. Fletcher Cox on DL is now questionable too.
Of course they still field 11 players but this won't be their best D....though I like their front 7 regardless the injuries. If they can pressure the pass happy Vikes, I see a couple picks couple that could be the difference....
Do you see it differently?

I can see the Vikings targeting the middle of the field a lot more with those guys gone. New England did a pretty good job at that last week. Hitches on might get a lot of volume . Can they keep pace with the eagles ? I’m a little worried these guys get the back door cover .

They appear to be trying but with mixed results possibly due to a patchwork OLine to protect Cousins.
