To Hedge or not to hedge last leg of huge teaser on giants mnf

11 team teaser 1 game away from hitting 

have the Giants +16.5 tomorrow night against saints

should i take saints -9 and hedge or just ride it out?

what are the chance the giants don't stay within 16?

How much are you risking?  If the payout is huge you should at least hedge the amount you are risking.  That way you can't lose a dime and there is no risk involved.

let it ride.  You wouldn't have added this game if you didn't think it would hit, you would have just had a 10 teamer and won already.

I would definitely hedge it...especially because you have a big window to hit for the middle. This is the situation that gamblers dream of, you are guaranteed a nice payout AND have the chance to hit your hedge bet as well!

I tell ya man, anymore when I bet big teasers like that with a Monday Night team involved I bet a second parlay of maybe half the amount with the opposite team winning just in case it comes down to that.

Giants SUCKED so bad last week. They burned me on parlays then and earlier in the year when Seattle beat them.

The Manning family is from New Orleans and its the stadium where Eli got his Super Bowl win if I'm not mistaken. I believe they will cover the original 9 points and should definitely cover 16...  um, SHOULD is the sometimes inoperative word here.

I have no advice for others on the subject at this point but there's a good chance Saints win by 10 to 15 and you win both bets so I myself would throw some guaranteed money at it... like 25%

I think it hits, but I would hedge $200 since you may still hit both and that way if you lose the teaser you can cover your bet and still have $100 to buy some drinks.

as a giants fan, giants always seem to let down when it is supposed to be an easy win ie. seahawks/eagles, but surprise when people least expect it ie. New England. Eli is still one of the best 4th quarter QBs this year, and that translates to backdoor covers at the very least.

Could be close early, but Saints can score in bunches late into games, so possibly a 2nd H ML wager to hedge.

But really, You dodged a few bullets already (NYJ and Steelers) that your instinctsywere probably legit at the time you made the wager. Trust it and Let it ride...

I've never been in this situation..

So I should I put like $800 on Saints -9 and hope they win between 10-16?

Only think is if the saints don't cover or lose SU I only end up winning half of the payout net.

I have been having a horrible last couple of weeks and really need this to come through.

This is a no brainer. The whole point of gambling is to win money. Hedge $500. This ensure you win some $.There's a possibility you win both bets.

Good advice guys thanks.

Brees def scares me as he can light up the scoreboard fast on anyone.

But Giants Defensive front  has been proven to hold down even the most prolific offenses and keep them in the game.

Then again Eli scares me as he is very capable making of stupid throws that cost games. Although he is playing much better this year.

A good time to hedge is when you have a good shot at winning both ends and with a 7 point middle you have a good shot at that

I have the Giants +17, & my line is -8 for the Saints, that an 8 point middle & its for $3,500 if the Giants cover, I might hedge, dont know yet.............

why do u add  the giants to your parlay if u are planning to hedge if u hit the first 10?

Only reason i want to let it ride is because i've had a really bad losing streak last couple of weeks and need to hit the full payout rather than just go for half.

But if the saints blow out the giants without hedging i'm screwed and lose it all. then i will be

So is the better move to throw something on saints full game or wait till halftime to make a play??
