as someone who follows this stuff. Beleive all are projects, not 1 starter that can be successful next yr, like last yrs class....If I were a GM, wouldn't take any in 1st rd! Wasting a pick...U cannot miss in 1st rd & be successful, look no further than all the good teams yr in, yr out...But their QB's, and bad teams will reach like always
Matt Barkley...typical QB from SC..SOFT! Doesn't possess strong arm for next level. Has best WR's in CFB, won't be able to adjust to the smaller windows that is the NFL......He will go in 1st rd, but his talent at best is late 2nd /early 3rd.....Wouldn't touch him. No SC QB has made it last 15 yrs! Palmer had best talent, but only had 2-3 good yrs, never a winner.
Geno Smith...average arm, but plays in the "NO Defense Allowed" conference that is the Big 12.When he did go against better defenses he failed. Does everything average....Again will be a 1st rounder, some joke franchise will take him....His talent says late 2nd-early 3rd
Tyler Wilson...Best arm coming into draft of 5. Played against best D' in CFB. He is the only QB that has 1st rd talent below the shoulders, but his head says 2nd rd. He'll go late 1st or high 2nd, which is about right.
Landry Jones......Big kid that can't stay healthy. Better than avg arm, but not great. Again, b/c he's a QB, will go higher than talent says. Probably high 2nd. Talent says late 2nd/mid 3rd.
Colin Klein.....Great CF Player, but not a great pro prospect...Does not have the arm for the next level. Not sure where he'll go, but talent says 5th-6th rd.
Like Nassib & Murray more than any of 5! Both have strong enough arms or NFL. Nassib makes plays, doesn't have alot of NFL talent around him, but finds a way. His talent is a late 2nd/early 3rd. Could be steal of class. Murray, needs better decision making, but his talent justifies 3rd rd.
Not the yr to need a QB & have high pick...SHould've jumped last yr, when picking was good
