Detroit +6.5
I just think this is a good matchup and a good spot for Detroit. Both teams are playing on a short week but Green Bay is the road team and I think that's a big deal given the short week of rest. What Aaron Rodgers is doing is really remarkable and I like the guy a lot but I think Detroit's defensive line could get some pressure on him and may disrupt him a bit in this game. I also think we've heard a lot about Green Bay's weekness in the secondary and I think Stafford and Megatron could have something to say about that tomorrow. I've thought all along Green Bay will not slip up at home but may drop a game or two on the road and I think this could definitely be the spot for it. Add in the fact that Green Bay hasn't exactly been blowing teams out most weeks and I'll grab the points in this game.
Baltimore -3
The Ravens have had some bad games on the road against marginal competition in Jacksonville, Tennessee and Seattle but in the games that have really mattered a la the Pitt games, they have really shown up and played good ball. Yea sure I'd rather have Ray Lewis in there of course but I just don't see Alex Smith going into Baltimore and having a big day I really don't. Frank Gore will play but he's banged up and I don't know that San Fran does enough to win this game. Great season the 49ers are putting together I"m happy for them but I don't think they have what it takes to go into Baltimore and win this game. I'll lay the three at home with the Ravens here.
