I don't think they were looking ahead to Detroit...I mean who does? Jets was a plate full and they were riding a 4 game winning streak into Tenn and spanked them in their own backyard. I tried not to let the emotional factor effect me when capping Tenn because as a competitor in any sports, I would think the Titans going to get right back on that saddle and continue ridding, BUT they been doing so well and their running game been clicking. It didn't against the Jets, but every team is entitle to their off days.....not saying Titans ain't going to win cause the Lions ML does look tempting, but I say they are going to squeak by in a nail biter. Detroit ain't no chump but if you factor in 0-11 & getting stomp by TB by 18pts riding into Thursday against a team who's looking for fresh meat Titans? Sure Detroit doesn't look good from that perspective.

They have the mental state of a loser. One big play by the other team and every player on the LIONS goes "here we go again". I don't care who the coach is, once these players get "used to losing", it's a damn hard habit to break.
That being said, you will see Detroit hang around awhile and like everyone else, Tenn. will eventually pull away and win. Tenn. is not an offensive juggernaut and their "D" will stuff what little "O" the Lions have. This shapes up as a solid UNDER play IMO. Lotsa' running, both ways, Tenn won't need to throw much, Collins won't throw 15 passes this game as DET gives up almost 5 yds per carry, 2nd worst in the NFL on the ground. Don't like the 11 simply because I believe it will be a low scoring game, but already teased TENN -5, UNDER 50.
Also, Texan Capper, with you on the BOYZ, ROMO and company starting to round back into form to make late season surge, ''D'' is solid, this one could get ugly against bad Seahawk team. LAY THE POINTS.
Finally, I believe all the dissension the Eagles are going thru will make them a better team for the duration. AZ weak pass "D" will be exploited by a Mcnabb under the gun with a little something extra to prove. PHILLY pass rush will make things miserable for an immobile KURT WARNER as ARIZ. does not run the ball that well.

I'll be watching the detroit game. had them last week + the points, watched them go up 17. Looked good. For about five minutes. That offensive juggernaut Tampa Bay racked up 21 in no time flat. That defense is pathetic. It might be the right play to be on Detroit, but been there and done that.

Tenn is going to come out and hand it to detroit right off the bat and run at will. They have the best coach in the NFL and he will have them ready. With that said, I lean to the 11 LOL

Are you Detroit backers paying any ATTENTION this year? These no growling lions have lost their home games by an avg. of 20 pts. a game! They are 0-5 ats. at home! As BK_Widows stated in another thread, since 2001 they are 1-6 on turkey day, losing the last 4 by 11, 17, 20, and last year by 32!! Do you think those teams are worse then this years edition? Texancapper- The 82 yards per game rushing is what their offense averages, the defense allows 160 plus per game. I don't usually care as much about total yards in that teams are running more on them because they are ahead and running clock much of the time, but the 5 yards per carry is terrible. You must have misread the stats, but good luck on Detroit, double digit dogs have been money this year.
