I don't think they were looking ahead to Detroit...I mean who does? Jets was a plate full and they were riding a 4 game winning streak into Tenn and spanked them in their own backyard. I tried not to let the emotional factor effect me when capping Tenn because as a competitor in any sports, I would think the Titans going to get right back on that saddle and continue ridding, BUT they been doing so well and their running game been clicking. It didn't against the Jets, but every team is entitle to their off days.....not saying Titans ain't going to win cause the Lions ML does look tempting, but I say they are going to squeak by in a nail biter. Detroit ain't no chump but if you factor in 0-11 & getting stomp by TB by 18pts riding into Thursday against a team who's looking for fresh meat Titans? Sure Detroit doesn't look good from that perspective.

I am WRONG on the lions DEFENSE stats......but I still back the Lions on this one.
Barry said the defense has run 458 plays this season and about 423 have been pretty good. It's the other 35, in which the Lions have given up 1,249 yards, that have been disastrous. That's an average of 35.7 yards per play.
The Lions have given up 1,702 yards in the other 423 plays for an average of 4 yards per play.
"If the defense is played right and if we play it properly and we keep the ball inside and in front of us like we are supposed to and if we make tackles like we are supposed to and if the guy coming in off the outside edge makes a sack like he is supposed to," Barry said. "Those are not things that the offense is catching up. Those are us not paying attention to detail. That is us not doing things right all the time. And when we do that, we play better."

Heat, that is a strong possibility.
