Unsurprising that you think this is the play though because it is nonsensical. Simple answer.. YES.
You are so uninformed that it is actually comical.

I guess that is why the officer that engaged in that behavior is on administrative leave and is about to be fired right? For following police training and all necessary procedures. Geezus get a clue dude.

That kind of behavior will get you in that situation 95 percent of the time where I'm from. When a cop says show me your hands or keep your window down, fucking do it. It's so simple. He would have been let go in minutes if you just do wtf your told.

These comments coming from someone who has never served in the military or police force of course. Imagine having to go to work 8 hours a day and deal with that kind of disrespect and stupidity. No wonder they can't find any one to be a cop anymore. You'd have to be a fool to want to put yourself through that for 40 plus years.

Where I am from same rules apply. Tyreek should have complied, no doubt. It still does not justify the behavior of a couple of those police officers. Their response was unlawful and is not police training because situation did not call for the use of force or such a reckless response. Tyreek was no physical threat to them for a traffic violation.

I can't believe none of those guys knew who he was. Now I've heard all sorts of things on why he got stopped but I haven't seen anything first hand. Not that being a wr should get you out of trouble, but it could have been handled a bit better on both ends. It's like the scheffler incident, that was even more ridiculous. At least tyreek didn't spend hours in jail for a minor traffic violation.. man I'm pissed if I'm late for my Sunday tee time I know that!!

There's no law that says you have to be respectful to a cop or else get roughed up. White cop on a power trip.
And that right there is why this country is so messed up right now. People are no longer civil. There used to be a time when the majority of people were polite, civil, followed rules/laws and were overall decent human beings. Now too many people think the world revolves around them. It's not a race/money issue IMO, it's just a general lack of accountability and civility that's gotten out of control (yes, I suppose being rich enables that mentality). I for one look forward to the day when the pendulum swings back in the other direction.

Why don't you let us know what is happening and why. Im sure the officer was put on administrative leave for some other unrelated incident caught on body cam right?
So many biased, uninformed folks in here caught in their feelings rather than reality.

Yes. That Scotty Scheff situation was some BS too. Another power tripping, emotional cop. However, I do not think there was any evidence of him being yanked out of his car and roughed up by multiple cops for disobeying the cops commands during that weak encounter. Interesting how that works. That cop was also disciplined for that incident.

Reek was acting a fool....when are these knuckleheads going to learn that you just comply with what the officers are telling you and this doesn't happen...Reek had an attitude after being pulled over for breaking the law so the stop was justified but he decided he wanted to act up...prolly called his agent during the traffic stop to instead of just complying and following instructions and getting his ticket...rolling and keeping tinted windows down during a traffic stop is not an unreasonable request...
What a dope

It's not about worshiping authority but you you have zero reason not to respect it when police pull you over, especially after you were pulled over for speeding....it is their job to do so and most respectful citizens comply with orders given to them from the police....when you do not you can expect whatever treatment they dish out...they have a very threatening job and no reason to cause alarm to them while doing it...Reek was asked for a simple and reasonable request and that was to roll and keep his window down...no reason to be a dick and not comply with it because you don't like that you got caught speeding and were asked to pull over...I mean, go ahead and be a dick, but don't be surprised when cops decide to control the situation until you calm down and start listening to orders they are giving you...cops do have a right to give orders to a driver or person they confront when confronting them over any situation just as you as a citizen have a right to be a dick but the cops will always win in that situation once they feel the situation is becoming hostile or threatening...Reek was doing just that by not listening to instructions he was being given...it's not like he was pulled over for the hell of it...he was speeding so no reason to be a dick...he got what he deserved for being pretty cool for a dick...
Sure, the cops could have handled it differently, but so could have Reek...Reek's the one who escalated it, IMO...when are people going to learn to just follow instructions of officers and everyone remains safe...haven't enough of these videos circulated to understand this or do people just want to push it to see what will happen...Reek was a dick and got what he got...

I tend to agree with you. The police do power trip, and want control. Many barely have a h.s. diploma and are ex-military. I see many videos of police being excessively brutal, too (the cop who made a guy walk with hands in the air down a hallway in Arizona, a few years back---just ludicrous yelling orders that are hard to decipher when you're stressed out---and of course the cop killed an innocent man.)
But there are far more videos of cops asking for compliance and the suspects (who are guilty felons) fire back, try bolt...try grab the policeman's firearm....and many cops are killed. Plus American society is not what it was in the 1950s--it's diverse and therefore difficult to shout out verbal commands in some communities--they literally don't hear you. All they interpret is a power up, and in these communities "saving face" is bigger than their own lives, and they will resist arrest.
Resisting compliance, open defiance is considered manly. They don't contemplate consequences.
Tyreek Hill represents that black American community, and they have a right to be how they wanna be. This is how America is trying to evolve into. If it looks like a deteriorating situation, the loss of civility, then this is apparently what major cities are voting for and so they need to lie in the bed they have made for themselves.
I think the cops could defuse with humor (bear with me on this one), and when Tyreek says "don't tap on my window..." maybe repond with a joke. It takes patience. It means a lot more time on a traffic stop--a lot more. When you violate someone's space, take their time and focus for your legal b.s......it takes a lot more time to defuse a guy who is delusional, thinks the worst of your intentions......but these cops try to get control waaaay too fast. They try gain quick compliance.
I think more patience would have defused the George Floyd incident. It takes almost laughable patience and humor to defuse inner city confrontations. But it could save billions of dollars in losses from a delusional community that thinks the worst......But it takes skill....because there are more incidents of felons who resist and will kill---that is when humor and patience stops, and you kill the suspect fast.
Tyreek was talking back, being defiant, but this is no cause to arrest him. There is a cost for police to be patient. But the skills involved--being able to read somoeone quickly--is not a skill that is easily taught. So I think these police confrontations will go on indefinitely. Also, I don't think it's racial. I have seen black cops who will straight out punch a black suspect to the ground for defiance....but this isn't the way to go for society.

Now that the body cam footage is out we can all see what exactly happens. But many will not even know what they are looking at. Fact is, HE WAS GOING 100 mph IN A 40!! Then he rolls up his window when asked not too. OK did the cop overreact...YES... but the FACT is, had Hill obeyed the traffic laws, and then respected the LEO's that were detaining him legally, none of this would have happened!! When you're breaking the law to that degree, show some humility, and respect! He comes off as an entitled smug athlete who thinks the laws don't apply to him. He should lose his driving privileges!

This was a classic case of pOleese brutality at its finest. The white cop comes up and then decides to drag him outta the car. Probably jealous he drives such a nice car and a main reason he got stopped to begin with as they couldn't have known he's black be4 hand due to tinted windows. No need for the aggressive force as well outside of the car forcing him to sit down when already cuffed. This crap goes on every single day unfortunately .
They were Hispanic cops and they were in the right. The self entitled black man was speeding and then was pulled over and then he rolled up his tinted window in defiance after being addressed by the cop...which freaked out the cops, that action alone provoked them because they could not see inside the vehicle. Florida is a legal carry state and 'the entitled one' more than likely has a concealed carry permit.

There's no law that says you have to be respectful to a cop or else get roughed up. White cop on a power trip.
Some cops are not power trippers. I knew one and he was a saint and a true man of God. Again those cops weren't white but I know that fits your lifelong narrative for hating Whitey until the day you die. I do give you credit for at least being honest about it.

Don't bring God into it, he's not even real, it's pre-historic mind control for the obedient Lambs. You people don't Love your fictional God, you're Afraid of him
closing in on a month here, a lot to say. Let me guess what your last username was. GFY
