17 pts @ hlf anymore then the game total which was 45-47 and they both total more then 28pts 2nd hlf that's an un. moose...unless you don't understand what a moose is.....it's an opposite of what's occurring........

Yes I understand what a moose is.. They had 17 at halftime when the halftime total was at 23, so yes they were slightly behind the game total.. A moose to me is when you are winning the entire night and lose in the last seconds.. Right now in the third quarter it could go either way with the total.

we're talking about the total only not who's going to win or not win....get that straight. 17 @ hlf then anything more then the game total is absolutely a moose. other threaders understand what I'm saying with their own threads.....

but you do understand o/u mooses correct? it doesn't necessarily have to occur in the last few minutes to be a moose.....when it's obviously 1 way then a total opposite occurs there it is a moose happens.

Yes I know what a moose is but this isn't one of them.. Like I said they had slightly less than half the total at halftime and it went over with 11 minutes left in the game and its going to go over by at least two scores..

I feel like a moose total would be a pointless score at the end of a game to make it go over

17 + 17 = 34 that's even slightly less then half of 45-47 is something like 20-22....well if you feel it's not then that's how you feel....congrats on your ov......

I have to agree with JoePa this was not a moose.  This would be called an behind pounding.  Just because you thought you won at halftime doesn't make it a moose

I see what you're trying to say it could also be like 40 points in the first half and not getting the over. Not really a moose just a bad beat lol

that's called an extreme moose....mooses occur when the momentum is going opposite directions you can say hlf by hlf....as if they totaled only 3 first then you assume the game must go under..but no the total still goes over the 2nd hlf despite the low score in the first......that's a moose..

17 at halftime with a second half O/U of 23 would have made the adjusted line at 40 so it was 5 to 6 points off the original line.. But this game went over with 11 minutes left in the game and went over by quite a bit.. Sorry for your loss and I wish I had the over, I made the square bet of NE...

Not a moose. You can't just throw that word around by adding up half time scores to determine a final score, it's not how it works. 

You're degrading a real moose by calling an early 4th quarter TD a moose. Get the moose out of here.
