hook means buying off a key number.  for example, if the spread was 3 and you wanted to take the underdog, you would buy the hook up to 3.5.

seriously, you are a very good capper. One of the better runs in the hx of Covers, if not the best. One thing my man and I mean it in all sincerity, quit buying the fucking hook. It is a vegas scam, just like insurance on blackjack. Do you take insurance? NO, because everyone knows it is a suckers bet( although I will take it in a 10 rich deck but I  digress).

I challenge you to look at the hook very closely over the next 6 months. Look at your win- loss totals with the hook and without it.  Look at all the juice you are paying for the points you are getting. I would buy it only in 3 point lines, as there it may help you some.You will thank me in 6 months guaranteed.

you beat me to the punch.  I was all over Tenn when i looked at the line last night but this is eerily similar to last nights game, 70% of the pub on a visiting fav giving 3pts (hope everyone did the right thing and +-.5).  I'm leaning towards the home dog just because of that... a home dog.

However, the better play is going to be the over.  Both teams ahave been giving up tons of total yards.  At first glance you would assume that they've all been rushing, however, much of the damage has been done through the air.  I don't think either QBs are anything get excited about but they will get their chances to go down field with the def trying to stay at home and keep the rb from killing.  I think both defenses will take their chances and allow to QBs to kill and not the RBs.
