Play of the Week:    LA RAMS -11    7 UNITS.  This may be my biggest play of the year.  See the thread "LA RAMS -11; Tennessee -1" for comments on the Rams game.  They will slaughter the hapless Giants in LA.  It is currently at -13.  I got this Sunday Night before it instantly jumped.

Tennessee -1    3 UNITS.  Even though I got a bad number (TENN currently +1) I like Tennessee to win this game.  Not sold on Pittsburgh.  Both teams 3-0.  Tennessee is playing at home and is the sounder team overall.  Going with the home team.

NY GIANTS TT UNDER 17   2 UNITS  Get this before it goes lower....it will go lower.

SEATTLE/TAMPA BAY 2 Team 6 pt Teaser both at -.5    5 UNITS   Both teams should easily handle their opponents and win the game.

Those are my major plays so far.  Smaller plays will be added as the week progresses.

Tenny is the sounder TEAM??? Ranked 29th in team defense and giving up 166 yards per game to the rush and almost 25 points per game?
Pitts is ranked #2 on D and giving up 54 yards on the ground with 15 sacks and 19 points per game.
Watson is mobile and he was sacked 5 times last Sunday...Titans gave up 30 points to both Minny and Jax...are you sure? Looks like the game will be cancelled and moved to week 7 anyway. 

Yes I am not a fan of Tomlin or Pittsburgh for years.........yes this game probably will be cancelled.  Who has Pittsburgh played?  3 shitty teams........Yes Houston is shitty IMO.  Pitt Defense gave up 21 points at home to a shitty Denver offense with their 2nd string QB.  Their whole team is over-rated IMO.

Who has Tenny played??? Minny, Jax, and Denver...3 crappy teams...not saying that Pitts are world beaters but any pro team that gives up almost 6 yards per rush and almost 25 points per game to lousy teams is suspect IMO. Overrated is what the Titans were last year ultimately...damned lucky to squeak by Jax, Minny, and Denver this year. 

Lancer89074.....thanks for the comments......yes Tennessee has not played a tough schedule either.  I like that they can ball control with Henry and Tannehill.  It seems like every time I bet Pittsburgh any way, I lose.   I have faith that Tennessee will find their defense and be the team they should be.  You are right, this game should be postponed until week 7 and then move Baltimore v Pitt to Week 8 because both have byes......

I used to bet baseball heavily 20 years ago and there was an excellent pitcher named Tim Hudson who pitched for the Oakland Athletics...if I was on him, he stunk, if I bet against him he was unhitable. To bet for or against him became an obsession with me...it was the Catholic in me...yearning to be punished for my sins...well, after going 0-10...i threw in the towel. I couldn't take the abuse anymore.

totally agree. Pitt #2 defense? Doubt it. Their pass defense is horrible to me. Watched them play twice against Giant and Denver, they couldn’t stop a passing game from second string QB of Denver. How could they are ranked #2 in defense?

Lancer   I have a few teams that hate me.....The Eagles the last few years and my niners.......I am rarely on the right side of bets for the Steelers, Eagles and 49ers.  I grew up in the Bay Area and have followed Baseball and Football since the late 70's.  Huddy was the man (although I am a devout Giants fan).  Thanks for the post, yes let the success keep going!  I am sure Pitt will win, since I bet them to lose.  lol that is the way it goes sometimes.  I suck at Baseball......way too many upsets and goofy shit happens that I cannot handicap.  It goes that way for all sports, but Baseball especially.  I pretty much only bet the NFL, then hibernate for 6 months with the occasional Baseball or Basketball or Futures bet thrown in.

i have some tim hudson bobbleheads :-) Steelers - I have squeaked by this year on picks but Ben on the road is awful ATS if I recall. Should look this up

Pittsburgh is ranked #2 statistically in overall defense in the NFL...#1 against the run and #12 against the pass...they are 5th in points allowed @19 per game which to me is the most important stat of all. They also have 15 sacks and they shutout the Texans in the second half after adjustments. Last year the same D played the 49ers, the Bills, the Ravens first game tooth and nail...could have won all of those games and would have with Ben. 

Further, the Steeler defense is of Superbowl quality (Watt, Dupree, Bush, Heyward, Haden, Nelson, Fitzpatrick, Hilton, Tuitt, Alualu, Williams all top notch IMO)...the Steelers' offense not so much or not yet but they have good talent...even the rooks are contributing. Chase Claypool is a budding superstar IMO.

It’s at 14 on the local parlay cards. Giant's stink but 2 TDS a bit much in the NFL. Might pass on this game. I’m looking at fins getting a TD at home vs the hot Hawks.  Can see a let down here. If the good Fitz shows up it can definitely be a shoot out. Eagles/9ers under 46 is also a play I like. What you think Van ?

Bcboyz yes they reside in LV, but I am an old schooler who refers to them by their rightful name.  No offense to Las Vegas residents.......and yes the Bills should cover.  

nieldellacroce as you said the Giants are terrible.  14 points on a ties lose parlay card is not a great play.  They could easily win by 20, but it is the NFL.....anything over 2 td's can be dicey.  I like Seattle to win the game, but not enough to bet them to cover.  It is the longest flight anyone has to make all year.  But Seattle is a juggernaut on the east coast, and Miami is just not that good.  They are an improving franchise, but not close to Russell Wilson and the Hawks.  If you can get 7 or wait and it may go to 7.5 then I would say take it if you like it.  I don't have a strong opinion on the side other than the ML. The SF/PHI total for me is a no play.  That game could go over or under, depends on healthy Kittle, Samuel and will Phily/D show up?  Too many iffs for me.  Unders are 19-29 first 3 weeks of this season.  GL with your play if you go there.

ADDING:  2 UNITS to the Buffalo bet -3.   Buffalo -3  4 UNITS now.  This has gone up to -3.5 on one of my sites.  The total in that game is now 53.  I got it at 52 OVER.  The Rams spread is now -13.5 or -14.  I like my numbers.....but that doesn't mean squat.

I will be adding 2-3 more smaller plays on Saturday Night.
