Plus, posters that make a play as a 5* or whatever and then wins, then count it as 5 wins on their YTD...GTFOH with that, your a joke
Or how about a poster who plays the money line on a ten plus point favorite and count that as a win?

@BeeRich
Michigan D does a scale system and does keep a record from 20 years ago but is constantly buying points so the record means nothing. Great way to hide the truth.

Do I come across as illiterate because I’m not a know it all or say a lot most of the time?
I never copy and paste. You apparently continue to be a clown and make an effort to respond to my posts instead of making your own. Congratulations you get the award.

I try not to pay attention to "the noise" when people are talking about rigged games, etc. To me, it's like talking politics which I stay away from.
Yes, I have my personal opinions but keep them to myself 99% of the time. The wife hears my 1%. It wouldn't surprise me one bit to have the curtains pulled back and the NFL and such are truly fraudulent. I tend to have faith more times than not and couldn't see myself shanking a kick just to make more $. <-- Example only as I was a JUCO then D2 punter/kicker back in the day. I just couldn't fathom trying to rig a game for the sake of cash. But WTF do I know.
I do enjoy reading alot of threads on this forum and tend to keep to myself. I've ventured into your threads, Max, and have pulled valuable info from it quite a few times. Much appreciated amigo!
F all the nonsense and let's Hammer the books today everyone!! Cheers!!

You're more laid back than I...I commend you for that. I'm pretty wound up, and speak my mind more than I should. I would like to be more reserved, but guess at age 56, it's never going to be me consistently. I've watch football literally for 50 years. I was 5 or 6 years old sitting in the recliner with my dad watching Roger Staubach and the Dallas Cowboys play teams like the Steelers with Terry Bradshaw. I also played junior high through high school, six years, and ended up with an injury or might have gotten a juco opportunity at WR. Point being, I know the sport very well, and know when the refs are cheating and when the players are acting. To be honest it's sickening to me where we are today. There is no handicapping. It's simply trying to get on the right side of the fix, or code. I still love the high of it, and still love doing everything possible to beat the book. I'll end there, but could go on and on for hours. It would blow your mind what I know.

I hear ya my man! I’m in the same boat, 54 years old and started watching with the old man when I was five or so. Started playing tackle football at the ripe age of six trying to take heads off like Lambert! Completely agree with you on how sickening this world has gotten, not just in football.
going to the softball fields to pitch to my daughter and pray I don’t get smacked in the face
can’t wait for 330 to come today!! GL and thanks for all the input!

@Timealker
Yes! Many prolific posters, Wizkid being a major example, make up their own lines. The entire world will be hanging, say +3 and they will post +5 and either lie and say they got the line or they bought it (presumably at -170). They will then post 65% winning records that if true would still be money losers assuming they’re buying their fake lines.

Maximus feel free to add another story anytime the one with you and Dad at age six watching Roger and Terry Battle each other out is one I remember as well as Stabler and Tarkenton those were the days when rigged wasn't used as loosely as it is today

LMAO...like Lambert. That's how it was then. NO targeting. I was playing full tackle football on the playground in 1st grade. Grass burrs, and blood all over us when we went back in for class. So, needless to say, when we strapped on the pads, we would run through a brick wall to knock the F out of someone. That was the football we grew up on. I suppose things have changed in that regard, but gambling has changed things. I made my first wager opening day of college football, 2001. I turned $500 into $15,000 in three weeks. Things are not the same now as then. It seems impossible to win long term.

B, I'll keep my highschool to myself. It's a medium size school in Oklahoma. 6 state titles through the years, although none during my tenor there. I'm an OU alum, and have been a fan, and going to games there since a very early age. I've lived in OKC, Tulsa, Dallas, and Las Vegas.

No worries my man! Prob a good idea to not reveal too much on this site!
All the talk about playing tackle football reminded me of playing in our front yards, full on tackle. We had a game called "smear the queer" which I'm sure I'll end up in the penalty box for that one. Whoever had the ball had to run and try to make it past the next oak tree! Game would turn ya into a man real quick!
OU eh? I played in Oklahoma back in the day and alot of my teammates were OU fans. From Houston but ended up there b/c of a damn girl. Otherwise would have played in S. Texas at a diff D2 school.
Just got back from softball and face is still intact! Hope everyone does well today and Hammer 'em!!

I kept a record and units and people still bitched and complained. I was up 20 plus units for the entire year in the NFL but because I did teasers and money lines people hated how I bet. I wasn't a conventional better that just bets sides or totals. You would think people would appreciate a different way to bet, because we are all trying to win money, but the Ricardo Cabezas continued in my thread blasting my style even though my records showed a good profit.
I've stopped posting because I'm also in my middle 50's and was a high school football coach/teacher. My blood boils when I get these unsolicited responses from these delinquents. There are some true jack wagons on this site. I try to be cool with everyone, but not everyone has the same goal.
I will continue to bet and win. I have won at least $600 for every month since August, but I will keep it to myself.

We've probably covered some of the same territory.
The game you talked about reminded me of something similar we played in elementary. We had home bases, about 100 yards apart, and around 20 or 30 of us would start the game. ONe person was it to start. Everyone would run back and forth between the two bases. The one person "it" would tackle everyone he could. Once you're tackled , you're also "it" with him, and have to start tackling those running between bases. Eventually, there is one person remaining untackled. Obviously the goal is to be the last man standing. I loved that game. WE played it religiously during recess, and it got violent. Lol I went to bed so many times throughout those years with Knee aches, or some other injury, and my mom would bring the heating pad and aspirin. Lol

In fact, as we speak, I hobble around with a compression brace on my right knee. I still run daily and push through the pain. Hopefully, I'll run until I'm 100 Like George Burns. LMAO

I really like you Vanzack. I've been reading you for years. I know this year has been tough, but for the most part you are a huge legend at Covers with numerous plus winning years. When I see people bitching in your threads it makes me want to hunt people down like dog. LOL
Keep being you!

By the way...softball is awesome! My daughter plays for Ohio University. I will be in Arizona in February because we play Arizona University!
I have been hit a thousand times pitching to my kid. We had to go to "softies" or rubber balls with holes in them. I had a girl on my travel team that hit a true softball up the middle which one bounced off my shin in warm-ups. All the parents were watching so I played it off. I really wanted to cry...lol...it hurt so bad. Never again! I still have a lump on my leg.

Old George never put the cigar down either! My Mom, "that stupid man is going to kill himself and he won't live past 80." 20 years later......
