and no surprise the line moved as it did, if this was a regular season matchhup, i'd say their of equal ability on a neutral field, but can u really see the hood and the goat losing 2 SB's in a row, McVay and Goff will win the big game probably a few times, just not in 2 weeks.

I don't know, now should be the best opportunity. They spent a lot of money to load this team up with talent. Goff is probably cheaper than he'll ever be right now so they can afford extra talent around him. Might be now or never for the Rams as they're very likely to significantly weaken next season when the players demand more money after reaching the Superbowl.

The opening line for the super-bowl between Seattle/Denver (2013 season/super-bowl 48) was Seattle -1 and it moved to Denver -3 and kablooey...Seattle won 43-8.
Not saying the results will be similar but food for thought at least.

ah yes, the safety on the first play and Manning looking like he was a geriatric in that game , Brady's aged better for sure.

Can I picture the Pats losing 2 SB's in a row? sure why not? nobody thought Nick Foles AKA 'BDN' the backup QB would beat him and he did. RAMS have all the ingredients needed to win this game. If the execute, they have a great shot. Brady would be reduced to a bum, if the Rams can get any semblance of pressure on him.

If my job was to set a football line to get equal action on both sides of a bet, I would NEVER have set it at Rams -1.
The books knew from which direction that they would be hit by posting that opener. That early line was like red meat to wolves.
Now the line sits at Pats -2 1/2...considering the amount of money that will be bet in any super-bowl, that is an enormous move.
If my job was to set a football line to get equal action on both sides of a bet, I would have set the opening line at Pats -3 (or Pats -4).
I am mentioning our early reactions to lines, not how we feel now, 4 days after the Sunday games. Our minds have been able to process the information. Our emotions don't run as high as that first peak of a controversial opener.

you think Vegas doesn't do a good enough job setting their lines?

Saw a trend on sb losers playing b2b sb that isn’t good for the Patriots. Can’t confirm the trend. Just can’t wait for it to play out.

Trends are dumbs, Everyone always sees one and its always like 5-1 SU or ATS. How about posting trends with a sample size of 50 games minimum? Then and only then are they credited

Gonna disagree at your dumb trend comment. Have to let that one go. People can find some good ones out there.

the only trend that matters which is of course unprecedented is that this is the 9th SB for B&B and they're 5-3

lol Pats going to win this one so easy. First SB blowout!
The Patriots couldn't even blowout a crappy Carolina team. Patriots won by 3 points as a TD favorite
Brady the Stiff that he is in all Super bowls threw a pick in the 4th quarter was almost responsible for another Super bowl loss lucky to hang on and win
The Great Jake Delhomme another Big stiff outplayed the Patriots Big Goofy Stiff
The Rams could be the best team they've faced so far in any Super Bowl
Why on earth would it be a blowout ? if the game is ever a blowout it will be the Rams on top
Without a few bad coaching decisions with Seattle and Atlanta Super Bowls the Patriots would be coming into this one losing 5 in a row
Then the whole media script is flipped and the talk is what a bunch of choke artists they are and what a loser the QB is he threw 4 INT s in those games.
You just seem to be caught up in the delusional world of the media's love affair with a team who's in a division with three bottom feeders with a phony for a QB

yeh pats biggest win was 6 points and thats when they were down 25! thats the genius of Belichek, just doing enough to win, giving other teams an inkling they have a chance but when its all said and done the pats invariably win. As all true fans know, its the hope that kills you.
