Great defenses are Pitts., NE, Washington, and I will even throw in Baltimore.  The Bears are worse this year than they were last year.  Bottom line is that there will be another team representing the NFC in the SB.  Not saying its the Vikings, but it won't be the Bears.

Just heard Doug Buffone say on WSCR in Chicago that the Bears were going to win by 3 points because they won't be able to run the ball.
 
He said it's all on Griese.

lean to chicago at home. funny thing about two defenses that have been so good in the past and given up so many points and losses..looking over here but the bears will prevail...cover I think so will put a dime on both over and bears cover

I think this game will be close. It all depends on how benson does to give more options for Greise during 2nd and 3rd down. I hope by now Greise found good chemistry with Olsen and Clark.  I think the bears can stop the run game against peterson because the vikings are one dimensional (similar to shutting down LT and LJ) which should give the bears defense more focus on the run game (also i think the linebackers are fast enough to cover perterson during the short passes)

It's funny how Packer fans come in here and say Bears stink. They're the back-to-back NFC North Champs & Defending NFC Champions. Who the Hell is Green Bay? lmao. Lovie is 4-0 in Soldier North. This is a Bears-Vikings thread. Packers better worry about Wash this week because I think the Skins are gonna blowout the Pack. IMHO. As for the Bears, they've been hurt. Mike Brown, Tommy Harris, Nathan Vasher, Charles Tillman, Dusty Devorchek, & Lance Briggs have been out or are out on D. This D will be dominant again, starting this week.

I think Peterson, Taylor, and Tarvaris Jackson are going to have a big day running against the Bears and that's gonna be the difference in this ballgame.   Minny will be able to run and the Bears won't
 
 
The Packers were actually running fairly well against the Bears in the first half of that game if you remember.    DeShaun Wynn ripped off a 40 yard run and Morency was doing OK for awhile.
 
With Darwin Walker out injured, it's gonna be easier than ever to run on the Bears.
 
 
I'm taking the points as I said above.    Plus the PUBLIC seems to be on the Bears which is always a bad sign.

But the difference between the GB game and the Minnesota game is that GB had a excellent passing game on offense, so going into the game the Bears game plan was probably focusing on the passing game than the running game (overall good at spreading the ball out). But I think for this week if the Bears take away Peterson by focusing on the running game, jackson is going to have a rough day. I believe the over outcome will be 16-10 bears

Why would you want a Packer fan perspective on the Washington game?        You should want the perspective of people who aren't fans of either team.

It's like listening to the biased opinions of all these Bear fans in this thread.    Useless because they are biased.
