I truly respect LC...always say he is one of if not the best all around capper here on Covers...

Doesn't mean I and other people can't have different opinions on the games presented...it is a forum, after all, and we are all trying to figure out how to beat the books...

The Saints are clicking like no other team...Chiefs...Rams...they are not on this level...almost nobody expected them to blowout Cincy 51-14 like they did last week...they beat the Rams and Vikings by 10 points and the Vikings were at home..

Teams similar to Philly they beat by much larger margins recently...

Redskins 43-19
NYG  33-18

And then the close game vs the best defense in the league at Baltimore they won 24-23...

Philly's secondary is banged up beyond belief...

oh Smack... LC is often a situational capper eh.. Of course the stats, the injuries, and Saints beat downs has this a DD win in the Supa Dome... and it just might be such... betting against a team with a legit claim as best team in the league, a team thats clicking playing against a depleted D and sputtering O is rolaids central... but I'll wager that LC is playing the spot here.. win or lose BOL, licking my lips at this weeks card

Come on how are the Saints any different than the Rams and Chiefs?  I mean they barely beat the Rams at home, lol.  And they have nothing over the Chiefs offense.  The Saints are no different than both.  Now if you want to crown their ass for handling a Bengals team with AJ Green than I don't know what to tell you.   Brees is due for a garbage game though, he had one against the Giants but he'll have a really bad one at least once this season.  Why not against a team that played like shit last week in a desperate position this week.........hmm sounds like Cowboys last Sunday.......hmmm

For me, that's the critical point (see highlighted text); that is, with the EAGLES suffering from cluster injuries in the secondary you have to figure the Saints will get their points considering how hot their offense is running. So, if you like the EAGLES you have to figure this game is a strong candidate to go OVER the number.

Eagles +9 is enticing.   Saints have the 2nd worst pass Defense in the league.  I don't like laying that much chalk with that kind of number in play.

Eagles ML is looking delicious as well.  Any given Sunday.  Books would love it if the Eagles won SU.

Have you seen how bad the Eagles secondary is due to injuries? Nobody talking about the play of the game against the Cowboys....Cowboys 3rd and 9 on Eagles 40 and the Eagles corner let the wide reciever do a simple slant route inside and easy catch for a first down then Cowboys score a TD...ball game....was like an easy layup in basketball. These corners and secondaries are 2nd stringers playing like a pac12 defense...that's the MAJOR issue for the defending super bowl champs....if anyone that watches football thinks Bree's won't light up this pac12 secondary is delusional

In my opinion, Saints could lose the turnover battle 3-0 and still win this game...still cover it losing the turnover battle 2-0...

I wouldn't touch Philly with barge pole at the moment, they were garbage on opening day and they've not impressed me since. SNF was a complete garbage-show against Dallas, who are trash themselves, the NFC East is the worst division in the NFL.

NO could so easily blow Philly out by HT, it could be 28-0 before you've turned round, look what they did to Cincy on the road, Philly are no better than the Bungles, and this week the Saints are at home!

My opinion is, it's not about whether you get +7 +9.5 or +10.5, I wouldn't be confident taking +13.5, because Philly are no good and they're playing maybe the best team in the NFL on the road.

Me? i'll buy the hook and take the Saints @ -7.  I would not be surprised if this is a complete blowout. If i've read this wrong then so be it, but I sure as heck 'aint laying money down on the Eagles.
