I sure would like a public discussion on this one. Any insights would be appreciated. I see that the Bills are - 1 1/2 favorites on the road for this Monday nighter. The Bills just blew out the Bears and the Bengals barely held on in New England for the win.
The game has huge implications for KC also as Buffalo is the current #1 seed. If the Bengals can upset Buffalo, then KC would be the #1 seed and Cincy would be the #2 seed provided both win their last regular season game.
Will this be a shootout with all kinds of fireworks? Looking ahead at the weather, the forecast is for temps in the 50s with rain showers. Of course how accurate can a forecast be this far in advance?
With the Bengals being even a short dog at home, this could really be a motivator? Anything guys? Here is a link to the ESPN playoff machine. http://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine

Teams would rather rest players or hold back game plans than go all out for a better seed. I don’t think Buffalo cares about a bye or seed since they are now in the playoffs. There is a letdown affect after clinching the division. Cincinnati has more to play for and has a more complete team than Buffalo currently.

With all due respect, every game I've watched so far(it's been many, not all), I have not seen an ounce of letting back, or holding back, or giving up by anyone until the Broncos yesterday. And that whole situation is different for the Broncos.
I would cap the game as both teams playing for the win.
La'el Collins is out for the Bengals, he started all 15 games(91% of snaps). They have had the same starting 5 linemen all year. Something to consider.

The loss of Collins (at RT?) weakens that Cincy Oline. With the temps going back up in the East and Southeast , the look ahead forecast for Monday night is that temps will be in the 50s with 10-15 mph winds and a 60% chance of rain.
A random thought on the game is that Miami gave the Bills all that they could handle @ Buffalo and the Bengals are a better version of the Dolphins with at least as good of an aerial attack and even a better run attack and a stronger D.
Thanks to all who responded. Am I the only one excited about this matchup?

I am, I just think Cincy at home will be too much for the Bills. Both teams want to win this game. Going on the road in January is tough. I will tease Bengals up to +4 in something as well.

Fun fact: Joe Burrow has never faced the Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen is 1-0 lifetime versus the Bengals. Not so fun fact: Buffalo seems to be the snow and looting capital of the world. How can you celebrate the birth of Christ and loot stores during a snow blizzard? Sad, sad
This should be a great game and they say that football is all about matchups, so we will see how that all shakes down.

Bengals are 5-1 ATS at home with their lone loss being the first week of the season. Bills are 4-3-1 ATS on the road. Granted they have had huge spreads but home field advantage means something. Cincy's D is better than KC's. Buffalo had to come back in KC and win(I was there, been to the last three Buffalo games in KC) and I just do not want to put money on a Bills team that the O is underperforming. Something is wrong with Allen. He is tough but he isn't the same guy as last year. I am friends with Rosseau. he said they weren't all the way healthy but getting there. Both these teams beat KC but I think Cincy takes this one and Bills drop to 3rd seed. That Minny loss is looking really bad right now.

Hakeem Adeniji will replace the injured RT Le'al Collins for the Bengals. They won with him last year in a starting role and he does have experience in big games. I listened to an interview of Boomer Esiason last night and he said that in this game that the Bengal WRs must go out and win this game.
Cincy might get Hayden Hurst their bigger TE back for this one though the smaller Irwin has been doing great (2 TDs last week versus the Pats). Chase, Higgins, Boyd are a load and that Bill secondary will be tested. Can the Bills run on the Bengals??? For me that is one of the keys to the game...they did run against the Bears but the Cincy D is way better. No doubt the Cincy DC will make some provision for the unplanned runs by Josh Allen...a spy or some other defensive move? Hoping there is no hanky panky by the refs beyond the obvious foul calls.

@Buffalobob89074 Desperate People do desperate things doesnt that matter what day of the year it is
If this is in reference to the looting in Buffalo then I cannot disagree with you more. After my Father died, my family was poor but we did not resort to wholesale looting to survive. The people who engaged in stealing goods from stores also did structural damage to the stores themselves which showed outright malice. Nah, IMO the looters are animals who walk the earth without a heart.

@Sea007EX You obviously haven’t followed the Bills after losing two consecutive playoff games in Arrowhead.
If the Bills have any chance of going to the Super Bowl this year, they need home field advantage throughout the postseason, and having an additional week off is a bonus to get them healthy for the battle ahead.
Most important game of the season for the Buffalo Bills.

LOL WRONGS on so many levels. #1 seed gives team a bye week 2get healthy and homefield throughout. Chiefs would've travel 2Buffalo in January 2deal with Bills Mafia. How is Bengals more compete team with their RT out. Which for me is key here. I would give Bengals a fighting chance if Collins wasn't hurt. Hold back game plans for what hahaha. The league add an extra wild card team and took out 2nd seed bye week 2make most of the last 2 week games meaningful.
Seem 2me all your reasoning is 2convince yourself why you're taking Bengals hahaha. Make no god damn sense 2me hahaha but BOL
Bills Mafia Heavy stack
(Been pairing it (par 2) with all my bowls games all week long for bigger payout hahaha)
A broken Rolex is right twice A-day hahaha

After reading all your posts. It seems 2me you're leaning Bengals and looking for more reasons 2take them. Which isn't bad if RT Collins didn't got hurt. I understand Burrow and the 3 headed snake receiver seems very tempting but, what can they do when there isn't enough time to complete a play. I believe Bills defense is a perfect matchup against Bengals offense this week.
I notice others cappers think this going 2be a close game but, I think it'll be more 10+. BOL with whom you take.

BOL ...I read your comments. I am not as confident as you. My heart is with Buffalo but I have a few doubts that it will be easy.
Can Singletary and Cook run on the Bengals? I know that Josh will pick his spots and gain yardage even with a spy. This isn't the Bear defense that they will be running against (254 yards). Cincy has a top ten D IMO as they rank 9th in points allowed and are 7th against the run. They are getting healthy (tight end and Dlineman back this week) also, aside from their RT Collins. If Prince doesn't work out they will put in Adeniji. They are only down 1 lineman which isn't the world.
I am not one to rush in where wise-men fear to tread. Appreciate your comments and it seems like the game of the year so far to me. I am excited for this one.

Change your name to Benedict Arnold, you’re not a real Bills fan!!
Bills found a way to win in Week 6 at Arrowhead, they’ll find a way to win at Paul Brown stadium (Yes, I know it’s now called Paycor Stadium) and besides which quarterback would you want in a winner take all, Josh Allen or Joe Burrow? Go watch the last two minutes of Week 6 of the Bills vs Chiefs matchup and you tell me! I’ll take Josh every game!
Bills are 3-0 against the NFC North, soon to be 4-0.

Since we're comparing last week's opponent let's talk about Bengals 2nd half goose egg. Bengals was up 22-0 at halftime. The Great Hoodie made some halftime adjustment and shut them out along with a pick6. Bills coaching staffs now have some materials they can work with thanks to the Hoodie hahaha. Cheap shot Jones also had an ez time airing assault against Bengals secondary. Which Diggs and Allen should have an ez time too.
I believe Singletary and Cook will do enough 2keep the drive going and win t.o.p. Which is key 2beating a power house offense (i.e. Chiefs).
If this game spread was over 4 I would be concern of a Wisemen back door but since it's basically a pickem and Bills need this game for a much easier road to the Super Bowl. I believe they'll treat it as an early playoff game. Bills going all in, pedal to the metal all Monday night long hahaha
