Welcome Back Ladies & Gentleman, Boys & Girls, Children of ALL Ages.....
Well we began the season with a
+2u Win! Always great to start the season with a W... but without further ado, onto my
Wk2 picks:
Cincinnati -3.5 Vs. SD
San Diego has a pretty poor track record in the Phillip Rivers era when it comes to East Coast Games @ 1pm Eastern Standard Time. I typically fade SD away from home & this is no different, besides Tyler Eifert is the real deal & should dominate again. Cincinnati's Offense is Very well rounded & their D will step up. Melvin Gordon isnt ready to step-up yet & i have a feeling he's gonna make mistakes Sunday in pass-protection or holding onto the football, i dunno just a hunch.
(Laying 1 Unit) Jacksonville +6 Vs. Miami
I love 6pt Homedogs! Jacksonville is better than they were last season, Yeldon gives them a legitimate RB & Bortles should only get better. I think the Jags defense makes some huge plays & eeks out a close Win or close Loss, but either way it'll be close.
(Laying 1.5 Units)
Oakland +6 Vs. Baltimore
Did I mention that I LOVED 6pt Homedogs!? Another young team who's better than they were last season, with a young developing QB at the helm! Oakland has weapons on offense too & their D will make plays infront of the Blackhole! I also don't trust Joe Fluke-o.
(Laying 1 Unit)
Washington +3 Vs. St. Louis
The Rams typically play the Seahawks tough at Home & even beat them lastyr at home in an emotional victory too... only to go on the road the following week & getting their doors blown off! Now I don't think they'll get humiliated like they did lastyr bc KC was better than this Skins team & Arrowhead is tough, but I do believe the Redskins will beat the Rams. I'd take the Moneyline all day but +3 Pts is nice.
(Laying 2 Units)Cleveland +1.5 Vs. Tennessee
Marcus Mariota just isn't that good, i mean he's "good" but not "as good" as he was in wk1. He'll be a fine Rookie but wk1 will go down as one of his "highs", week 2 just might be one of his "lows". Bishop Sanky worries me quite a bit but i think Clevelands defense will make enough plays. If I'm wrong about Mariota having a bad week, we could be in for a shootout & if we are - Johnny Football will make more plays & the hometeam defense will step up when needed most.
(Laying 2 Units)
Pittsburgh -6.5 Vs. SF
Pittsburgh is already in a must-win & wont allow Mr. Hyde to run all over them. Pittsburgh's well rested with extra preparation for this game. SF will have some straightup "stinkers" this season, I believe this will be one of them.
(Laying 3 Units)Colts -6.5 Vs. NYJ
The Colts play much better @ Home & will take it to this Jets defense. Gore should have a much better game than he did wk1 & Andre Johnson should be in line for more looks with TY ailing. The real "difference makers" for Indianapolis will be their TightEnds, Coby Fleener & DeWayne Allen are the best Duo of TE's in the NFL, hands down IMHO! Coby is more of a downfield TE, capable of big plays & flexing out at WR often, whereas DAllen is a RedZone nightmare, scoring in almost every single game he's played the last 2 seasons! The Jets just wont have enough to stop them. Colts take it down by a score of 31-20...
(Laying 2.5 Units)
GOODLUCK TO ALL!
THOSE WITH ME!
THOSE AGAINST ME!
(maybe more picks to come, but for now I'm comfortable with these picks....)
